"We're thrilled. a very beautiful discovery of Mauritian cuisine. we have chosen the discovery menu for 2 which includes 3 dishes to choose from in the 5 offered. We have tasted chicken curry, mint beef and tomato fish rougail with a small soup of lentils, rice and salad. We have taken 2 great cocktails and dessert a mango with rum and caramel with vanilla and whipped ice cream and I have enjoyed myself with a "gato banana" with no-fat bananas at all with chocolate and whipped ice cream. everything is fresh, renewed every week, fraicher gage, worrying not to fall into the routine, generous cuisine, gouty dishes. The restaurateur also offers takeaway dishes. He's very helpful, friendly. The toilets are clean.Don't be proud of the simple frame, small, dare push the door you won't regret it.We'll come back with friends."

Wanted to find somewhere outside the old town for dinner and our search let us to this little gem. Not being familiar with Mauritian food we were happy to find it simple yet very tasteful and well prepared. I had gambas in a coconut sauce and the portion was huge with 4 giant prawns on the plate. A plate for the shells and clean up napkins were brought in without me having to ask. But that was just the way of the service. We had a man and a woman serving us and both were very friendly and smiling and saw to all our needs before we knew of them ourselves! A great experience.
