"We were staying at nearby Chateau de La Colaissiere and they recommended this restaurant a few miles away. It is a little difficult to find in the one way system around the small town but worth the find. There is a tiny square with some parking and this restaurant is attached to a small hotel. The interior is modern rustic and pleasant enough rather than swish but most customers were nicely dressed and the place was more than half full on a mid week evening in late September. The food was delicious. Everything was well presented and tasty and fresh and 4 of us had different fare all of which was thoroughly enjoyed. I can't identify with the negative comments in other recent reviews as the service was attentive and polite, the ambiance quiet but not subdued and the food on a par with 4 star+ restaurants in London. Value for money too for a couple with wine it was about 80 Euros."

Enjoyed by locals and hotel guests alike, it's best too book. The menu isn't too long, with one daily special available alongside three or four other choices. Service is excellent, prices are about average and the food is very good. Nice choice of local wines, with good advice from the waiting staff. Well worth a visit View menu

Don't order the lotte. too cooked and rubbery. I sent it. Thankfully, I asked for the separate sauce. the meat fillet too cooked for a cooking point. but above all portions are risky for the price with supplement. We're not hungry anymore and we're feeling scammed. We'll never be back here again. Go to the bistro next to eat a omelette.
