La Consigne - Menu

There are 2 choices for breakfast, French or English. the English included eggs and bacon. It was m6ch cheaper than the hotel charged.

Great English style breakky eggs ham with crossoints & coffee,juice, bread for under €9. Host first morning was most accommodating with English speaking banter. 2nd day different staff with limited English, but meal was good.

We loved going to La Consigne just down the street from our hotel for breakfast. Nice light meal and friendly staff. We would have coffee and a croissant and people watch from a great location. The staff were very tolerant of our poor french! View menu

Whether looking for a good breakfast before starting your day, or a cup of coffee or beer whenever, we recommend this restaurant. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was tasty and filling (and much better than our hotel options), and best way to start the day!

This place is not fancy, but it is efficient, and it is not expensive for Paris. It is the kind of place that you order the plat du jour. The menu is in French and English. When I ate here, I think that I was the only tourist, everyone else seemed to be locals.

We had a quick stopover for the night close to the train station. This little spot was walking distance from the hotel. The atmosphere in the pub/cafe like setting was great. The food was very tasty and prepared relatively quickly. The service was from the owner/manager was great. View menu

We stumbled into this place on a rainy day when we didn't want to walk far. The food was great and the service was excellent. We visited again for a leisurely meal while the euro 2016 game was on. We were rewarded with a free cheeseboard which was very kind. A lovely place much underrated

We stopped here after a full day of touring and walking. The place is nothing great to look at but the service and staff were wonderful. Came over and talked with us for a long time about our trip, gave us suggestions and explained French impressions. It was great. The food was average and a good price.

Convenient to our hotel, La Consigne was our morning choice--sometimes not very early but still a good start to a day of sight seeing. Crepes, La 'Anglaise, and Le Francaise (please, pardon my spelling) Breakfasts. The waiter didn't speak any more English than we spoke French. But we got along well with pointing and guessing, and the food was delightful. View menu
