"Wir waren mit einer Freundin im "La Coupole", die schon häufig dort zu Gast war und meinte, man müsse das Restaurant bei einem Paris-Besuch unbedingt mal gesehen haben. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Das Restaurant ist innen üppig und prunkvoll im Art-Deco-Stil eingerichtet und lässt ganz deutlich den Glanz früherer Zeiten erahnen. Für meinen Geschmack könnte die Beleuchtung etwas gemütlicher sein, mir war das Licht etwas zu kalt. Auffällig ist die große Anzahl der Kellner, ich hatte fast den Eindruck, dass ein Kellner auf drei Gäste kam, rekordverdächtig! Entsprechend gut und schnell war der Service. Meine Vorspeise (Foie Gras) und der Hauptgang (Entrecote) waren exzellent und frisch. Die Preise waren mir etwas zu hoch, aber das ist sicher auch dem Ruf des Restaurants geschuldet. Nett fand ich, dass die Kellner mehrmals in voller Mannstärke an Nachbartische gingen und dort Geburtstagsständchen sangen, immer mit einer überdimensionalen Torte in der Hand (ich glaube, die war aus Pappe, sah aber täuschend echt aus, musste man wohl vorbestellen). Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend!"

I decided I had to create a TripAdvisor account, just so I could review this beautiful restaurant!I ate here with my partner last night and was completely blown away by how lovely the staff were and how amazing the food was. We ordered the Royal platter and the amount of food took us by surprise. It was such an incredible treat. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. By the time we left the whole place was full and the atmosphere was buzzing. A must visit if you are a seafood lover in Paris.
