"A unique fish-themed evening We came here on a Thursday evening in August after some deliberation, reading between the lines of the TripAdvisor reviews. After a couple of phone calls explaining their ‘unique’ menu choices we booked a table. Upon arriving we ordered a pleasant voignier from local winery, Bauci, for €24 enoteca price €12.50). Our daughter had the homemade pasta with tomato sauce, a good provision on their part as she wasn’t obliged to have the set menu. As their website says, you are obliged to have all three starters €30 for the three) which change every day, depending on the fish caught and the imagination of the chef. A bit of a strange idea, but if you’re ok about being told what to eat, ok about spending €30 on antipasti and like us you’re not fussy about what you’re eating and willing to experiment, then all is good. In fact all three antipasti were very tasty. The orata cooked with potatoes and lemon in a plastic bag was a nice start. The squid and courgette soup was surprisingly good and the third, a courgette flower stuffed with monk fish the best dish of the evening. At this point you can then decide what to have next. 1 or 2 starters, €10 for 1 or €15 for 2) with or without a main course €15). We went for one starter each and one main course as there was only 1 choice of main course). The 2 pasta dishes, one with clams and mussels and the other with tuna were above average. The one main course was sea bass with aubergines. The sea bass unfortunately was still raw inside. The bill came to €132, which for 2 people and 1 child having a plate of pasta with tomatoes) was rather expensive as we knew it would be). Overall though we had a pleasant evening. The dishes were mostly good and although the price was fairly high, we felt it was worth it as a treat. Dal Cacini have created a unique experience and if you just go with it you are in for an evening that is definitely not dull!"

"In realtà, avendo soggiornato in loco, siamo stati qui più volte nel corso della nostra vacanza! Sia per colazione che per pranzo, ma anche per un aperitivo! Ci siamo trovati sempre molto bene! Il locale si trova proprio sulla soglia d'ingresso per il borgo antico e quindi è meta di molti turisti, sia italiani che non, come noi! L'esterno, devo dire, si armonizza molto bene con il borgo, nonostante sia moderno e ben definito, non stona! L'interno devo dire che invece, nonostante sia pulitissimo e ben tenuto, l'ho trovato un po' freddo e smorto in alcuni punti, ma tutto sommato è molto carino! Il tutto si risolleva comunque quando arriva in tavola il cibo!! Si mangia davvero davvero bene! Durante il primo pranzo ho assaggiato il risotto allo zafferano con la tartare di gamberi ed era veramente ottimo! Gamberi freschissimi! Più un panino con prosciutto toscano e pecorino davvero fenomenali! Poi durante il secondo pranzo abbiamo assaggiato sua maestà la fiorentina! 800 g di pura bontà a media cottura! Bellissima carne, sapore favoloso, servita con già delle verdure di contorno alla griglia, che potete scegliere voi in base alle vostre preferenze! Sia i gestori che i camerieri sono veramente simpaticissimi e delle persone davvero di cuore! Abbiamo fatto amicizia subito! Il servizio a volte può essere però un po' lento, ma è ben sopperito dal fatto che poi le pietanze sono davvero ottime!!"

"Nel bellissimo centro di Suvereto, ho scoperto questa locanda...ed è stata davvero una scoperta da 5 stelle. Finalmente un luogo suggestivo, con eccellente gastronomia,, preparazione del personale e presentazione dei piatti, a un conto onesto! Senza dover pagare cifre esorbitanti e 'inopportune ' per coperto, acqua minerale, a mio modo di vedere veri e propri piccoli 'furti ' per il commensale Un indirizzo davvero da segnare negli appunti. Tornerò presto!"
