"that was my first visit to this restaurant. a completely different experience to most other restaurant experiences, but everything better for it. a few simple but very fresh and delicious buffet style starters. they help themselves and eat as much appetizer as they want. a main course from a short but quite authentic French menu, something like 10 dishes to choose from. followed by help even after home made ice and/or cheese and cookies. the decor is very simple and rustic, but comfortable. the service friendly. just eat, but delicious. I had a nasty pot for a lead that was very tasteful. drinks are on Thursday half price. So for two of us, three good courses plus a bottle of wine costs £30. I rated this place 5 stars because eating was very good, very plentiful and amazing worth. it will not be tasted for everyone, especially if they are looking for something modern or highly polished. the location is a bit 'back street' but somehow seems to work. if they want to experience this memory of the small little caffe, they stumbled in france, give it a walk. I thought it was great and I'm gonna go back."

Cheap, cheerful, tasty food and lots of fun. Went with 5 friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Good portions too.

As a French man, I would consider this to be the best french comfort food restaurant outside France. Great to see attentive french staff in a French restaurant in the UK. Highly recommended.

Had a great evening. Loved the buffet for started , cheese and desserts. Each course was very tasty. A ridiculous price for the quality of the food. French food as at home in France. Will go again.

I really can't believe this place doesn't get more trade. 10 quid for all you can eat 3 courses? Excellent value. We went 6pm on a Friday and the 10 of us had the place to ourselves. Excellent food, good drinks prices- sorry Eastbourne I love you dearly but have a look at this and see what you're missing!

great price-performance buffet. costumed French bistro style slowly baked casseroles, of which they help themselves. it is cooked around the corner in the chic sister restaurant, but much cheaper here. there is also a small selection of appetizers and ice for dessert, everything for an all-you-can-eat set price. quirky and fun. Maybe a bit hard to find on a ruffled side street of seaside, but it is worth looking for outside.

I have no bark with this hidden gem in the north street, eastbourne. au contraire! That's exactly what I have from did .delicious beef bourguignon, the perfect accompaniment to a cool English evening. this, after a generous all-you-can-eat series of appetizers, hot and cold, and a glass of the house red. I have lived in eastbourne for four years without being aware of this excellent essserei. recently recommended by a friend, monsieur roland, I must say, mr. ami!

I loved this place. Good food, excellent value for money, friendly service and wine at half price in October was a good advantage. This is the traditional cuisine of a French farm. It may not be delicate, but it is abundant, tasty and abundant. You know you ate well when you leave. The wines complemented the food wonderfully. The service was friendly and cordial, perfect for the small space. We will return, often. Great restaurants need good food, but they don't need to be very expensive, they need to reflect VFM. In this case, the value is extremely high. I doubt you're disappointed in La Grange.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! The food is delicious and authentically homemade, with great value for money. They offer half price drinks and hearty dishes. We were lucky to stumble upon this hidden gem! The waiter was very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone had a great experience. The Rillettes, tomato and cheese salad, and chicken chowder starters were all fantastic. The beef stew, lamb meatballs, and lamb stew with ginger were all cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. For dessert, the cheese and biscuits, waffles, and peach tart were equally delicious. To top it all off, we enjoyed a half price bottle of wine. We had three courses for three people and a bottle of...
