"suggestive place close to the center of ostuni. Tourist menu at 20€ including first, second, water and 1/4 of wine. despite being a place taken by tourists, they manage to keep up despite the strong affluence of customers. very good food and abundant dishes (as for the first dishes.) to parer mio, the wine of the house was not exactly the maximum. I recommend buying bottles, since they have different types. I do not give the 5 stars for the annoying invading of a waiter in particular. I first tried to convince myself not to take a meal present in the menu (I took the same and was very good,) after using the term dolls to turn to us customers and to finish the sentence I change the fork also to your friend otherwise it is jealous . we were there to enjoy a lunch on holiday, not for anything else."

Only the lunch menu is available at noon! We beat the rush and had a great time before this place got super busy. The food was plenty and delicious! The staff speaks multiple languages.

excellent local site in the center of ostuni. with 20 euros we ate a first, a second and water (or wine, at choice) without paying other additions. the location is fantastic and the food was very good. recommended.

On my first night in Ostuni, I stopped into La Grotta for dinner (I had pizza, of course) and it became my go to spot while I was there. The food was delicious not once did I have a bad meal. I took FOOD pictures! I never do that. The wait staff was attentive and really sweet. The atmosphere was like a family restaurant where everyone was welcome. I will be back. View menu

nice place, inviting.. but proposed by the manager, the card or the menu of the day (touristic . at the table we are proposed only the munù of the day (no other proposal from the waiter . the good ears plentiful (for a first, the seconds scarce (the fried mixed of squids (2pz. and shrimp (2pz. with salad.) soft, fried badly. We're not offered a sorbet. sin. of three stars only for the position.

I love this place and always come here when I’m in Ostuni. The cave like atmosphere takes you to another era. My girlfriend and I had a great evening here last time I came. The potato croquets are wonderful you can taste the mint. My other favorite dishes include pasta with muscles, frutte dal mare, fava and chicory, grilled fish and friend calamari. The pizza is the real deal and not overdone. Love the one with anchovies they add them like a bit of salt. Wine choices are solid and cost effective. Finally, the deserts are great and change regularly. This time I had almond and fig gelato. Off the chain. This place is a true pizzeria and a very good one. Enjoy. Don’t forget to grab a carob on...

"Located on the quieter side of Ostuni’s Piazza della Libertà along from the Sant’Oronzo column, this little bistrot is more than a smoothie and juice bar it describes itself as. Traditional Pugliese ingredients are served up in less usual ways. We loved their “bagel Pugliese” (using bagel shaped bread, rather than traditional bagel topped with cime di rapa and smothered with stracciatella and then a generous glug of Puglia’s finest olive oil (6€ . We very rarely have baked potatoes, and only as a side when visiting a Braceria. But here they have a small selection. We tried the stracchino a light and creamy soft, young cheese made from cow’s milk with fabulously scented tomatoes and basil (5€ . Eating tomatoes in Puglia is always such a joy. The scent of fresh tomatoes under the sun at the daily market stall is as distinctive as is our morning coffee. Far and away the best bread that we have ever eaten is made in Puglia. The exceptional Altamura bread. Cicinedda have a delicious sharing platter of mixed bruschette made with toasted Altamura bread and a selection of local cheeses and seasonal vegetables (9€ for 8 pieces, 5€ for 4 . Small with a cozy interior and outside seating front and rear, it’s a nice place to be. Expect friendly service. As with most venues in this location, it will get busy, so have patience and as always, be polite. We see many visitors come to Puglia and expect fast food and a quick turnaround. But that’s not our way. Food is something to be enjoyed, so profit from the chance when you visit."
