"What a surprise to find an Argentinian chef offering cutting-edge, delicious cuisine from local ingredients in a tourist village where you'll otherwise find predictable and over-priced food. The homemade veggie burger was amped up with caramelized onions — and locally-cured bacon! at my request, along with the requisite egg. My wife inhaled her 100% Angus hamburger with local tomato and lettuce. The dried-beef cecina and mussels in vinaigrette appetizers and the bulgur salad with radishes were fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and the setting airy and welcoming. But it was the tiramisu with hazelnut biscotti and coffee-infused Marsala that left us as happy as the Romans who hit gold in this charming town around 2000 years ago."
