"We had lunch here and sat outside on one of the tables facing the marina which was great. The place had a nice, buzzy atmosphere and the staff were very nice and friendly. They took our order quite quickly, but the drinks and food did...all arrive at the same time, when obviously we would have preferred to have a drink first whilst waiting! Quite a good choice of dishes on the menu, our meals were nicely presented and tasty, so all in all, it was a lovely lunch which was also quite inexpensive, considering the location."

Good reception. Kitchen rather average, so not good value for money... We pay the location, view of the marina.

All right. Friendly and very friendly staff. Quick service. Very good kitchen. The fries are homemade. Ice and sorbets are extra. View menu

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of the marina. Good reception, choice and honorable quantity in plates. Correct prices. The problem is that it's very noisy because the tables are tight and the restaurant is big.

Very good map of which the excellent and copier very good pizza also View on the marina, quick service and a boss who comes to see his customers. I recommend Granville beautiful city of character where it makes good flaning along the gousset dish.

My wife and I used this restaurant regularly before it was rebuilt after a fire. I reviewed the new restaurant after it had re-opened but having been treated so rudely and refused entry, suspecting it was because my wife is disabled, we vowed never to...return. However we did return but when I asked to change table, before we had sat down, were treated in such an off hand manner by a young waitress that we left and had an enjoyable lunch at the friendly and welcoming La Picorette.

if they have children or are English, do not visit this restaurant, the personal is rude, arrogant prejudice. I had a terrible experience with the women at the reception that told me some terrible things in French. in principle, they are not English... wanted here with their terrible children. it was translated to me by a very insulted French. we just wanted to book a table, we didn't even eat in the restaurant. I was so appalled by these terrible women, she might have to learn some men from English.

"It was 6pm on a Saturday in Granville and we hadn't booked a dinner table. Before we arrived in town we hadn't appreciated that it was boat show weekend in Granville and the place was rammed with visitors from all over France. Having seen this place's great Tripadvisor reviews, I wandered in off the street at 6.15pm to find they were fully booked. But they nevertheless offered us an early table at 7.15pm, to be finished by 9pm, which suited us fine and was very much appreciated by a hungry family of four. The location is unpromising - behind a large public parking area opposite the industrial fish shed on the port - and the restaurant looks small and not particularly special. The interior is fairly dark and subdued, but has been stylishly refurbished. We found the the welcome, the service and the food well beyond expectations. The set menu consisted of about five choices for each course. We all opted to take all three courses for €32. Most of the courses are seafood-based, as you'd hope and expect. Our starters were excellent - two crab and two smoked bass - and the main courses equally good. We both had grilled turbot, perfectly cooked, while our kids (10 and 12) had steaks which were of very high quality. We shared four different superb desserts. The wine list was quite small but with a decent range. We had the chef's recommended St Romain at €34 which worked really well with the fish dishes. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and our kids felt very welcome. One point to note - an earlier review mentions a kid's menu. In fact the only menu available to us was the standard set menu. This worked fine for us, but if your kids are still building their sense of culinary adventure, it might not be the ideal place for you! We really enjoyed this place and we'll definitely be back."
