"Don’t be fooled by the humble, laid back, roadside appearance — there is a nonna in this kitchen who seriously knows how to cook, and this was one of our best meals in our two weeks in Sicily. It is well worth a stop if you are visiting Villa Romana or are passing through. The rabbit cacciatore, especially, was out of this world, and everything was prepared with care and love. The cannoli was insane. Hipsters! This is the rustic Sicilian meal you are seeking."

We enjoyed lunch here after a visit to the Villa Romana del Casale. Good pastas, sausage, and house wine. Quick service (it was almost empty) on a nice midweek day in early April. Parking in front.

Great place for lunch before or after the visit in Villa Romana del Casale. Excellent and fast service, affordable prices, and tasty flavors. The only minus is that there are no vegetarian/vegan options. The menu is very meat-oriented. But it was relaxing to eat lunch under the cool pergola.

Dopo aver visitato la bella villa del casale abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante dove abbiamo ottenuto la cucina locale: trofie con sapori siciliani, conigli e pasticcini di mandorle. Invece del coniglio, è stato servito un piatto di verdure grigliate squisite. Anche il buon vino locale. Tutto servito da personale cordiale e disponibile.
