"Went here for lunch today (support local businesses etc). Ordered a salad to start followed by pasta. The rather 'in your face ' waiter asked if we would like to try some calamari with our starter. We refused, saying we only wanted a light lunch. He insisted 'it is only small and very good ' so we said we would try some. Well it was nothing special, quite rubbery in fact, the pasta was also disappointing. We asked for coffee and the bill, that 's when we saw we has been charged 21 € for the calamari!! When I complained the waiter said it 's that price because it is fresh!! Will never eat there again."

Unas pizzas magníficas. La masa realmente buena, y con mucho fundamento encima. Mi preferida, una con verdura y salami picante.

We visited in Aug 2019. If you are looking for good tasty pizza. This is the place to visit. We were served really quickly and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great pizza selection.

Not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, but certainly nothing to complain about. Very busy on the night we visited seemed to be only three members of staff including the chef. Lots of people wanting to be seated so clearly very popular. Some odd pizza choices on the menu including a french fries pizza! Good pizza just better in the area.

"the restaurant juan brown is a key place for the gastronomy of the Almeria. In particular today we will try your special tasting menu for your anniversary, a menu that makes a tour of the most emblematic dishes of the cuisine of the chef juan brown. the philosophy of the restaurant is very linked with the traditional Almeriense cuisine with the product of proximity thanks to the marvellous garrucha lonja but always without giving up other products from other places both of spain and of the world. the proposal of brown juan is a traditional, classic kitchen, with avant-garde touches. a restaurant recommended by the guide repsol and belonging to the bib gourmand of the guide michelín. Autumn orchard: this colorful dish is a puerro cream with peas, brocoli, cherry tomatoes, carrots, asparagus and pumpkin our ecological bench: a very curious dish with surprise in the form of trapntojo. inspired by a vegetable garden, the land is made with rye bread, hence its color, tomatoes are branded cod and accompanied by yuca chips. garrucha (from the shrimp to the mustaches:) one of the Almeriens gastronomic jewels, the famous red garrucha shrimps, cooked so that you can eat with peel and everything. not only of the pig takes advantage of all seasonal fish with vegetables: fish with a leap of vegetables from the vegetable garden. Looks like almost a dish of meat for the color and marking of the fish. It is also crowned with a sponge of boniato salad of salmon foils, tomato, foam of anchovies and crunchy of potato: the anchovy foam is a discovery, which flavor, which intensity. jabali solomme encamisado, filling of mushrooms and foie: an intense dish, very balanced, with a hunting meat that is practically undone in the mouth. it is wrapped in a cabbage leaf and a salsa with a reduction of the cier with apple. pineapple ice cream in textures and coconut rum. creamy fresh cheese and bacon of heaven. In short, brown juan is an almost obligatory stop at the Almeria."
