"Great experience. We book the tasting menu for dinner one day before, as it puts on the website. We have enjoyed a lot along the 14 dishes that made up the menu. The attention of the service is great, they are very nice and explain to you the doubts you have. we have been recommended for a fresh and fruity white wine. If we see again, we will repeat without hesitation. 100% recommended."

"Mi restaurante favorito en los alrededores de Mojácar. Aunque está en el pueblo de Turre, no se tarda más de 10 minutos desde el pueblo de Mojácar. Sin duda, es famoso por sus caracoles con salsa. No os puedo decir con que hacen la salsa porque no lo se. Os puedo decir que pasé mi infancia comiendo todos los veranos en este restaurante y no he probado nada tan bueno como esos caracoles. Es una especie de salsa de tomate con especias, muy picante. Además el pan que tienen es increíble. La otra comida que caracteriza a este restaurante es el conejo con pimientos verdes, una maravilla si te gusta el conejo. De los mejores que he probado, también. Y todo esto en medio del desierto, porque está justo antes de entrar en el pueblo de Turre, la impresión que da es de estar en mitad de la nada. Desde luego, si veraneais en Mojácar os lo recomiendo 100"

"you cannot believe what they give you for 10 euros,multiple choices on all three courses,drink bread,coffee all included,plus salad on the table to start with,all the courses were good and well presented and ample portions,service warm and friendly,does get very busy at lunchtime around 2pm, so might be worth making a booking.they of course have an a la carte menu.to eat cheap and be full up this is the place to go."

"We are customers with this restaurant since it opened about 2004 and enjoyed many good meals. Last evening 21/10/2022 we had a terrible experience there. Having ordered our usual steak, when my steak was served it was undercooked and taken away to cook further. In the mean time an elderly big man (presumably drunk) staggered from his seat and fell on my husband, knocked him off his chair hitting his head on the table and landing on the floor which at this point was full of broken glass as the table was upended( my husband is in his 80th year) No response from management, staff cleaned up the mess and other very kind customers came to our assistance The manager then served me my steak which by then was dried up and tough as old boots and the best of it was we then received the bill in full without management even asking we’re we ok, which would have been good manners at the very least. We were very stressed and totally disappointed that management ignored the situation. We definitely would not recommend this restaurant after this horrific experience Mary"

"We've eaten in February that's off the beach season, so I don't know how the service will be at the fort time. It seems to be a family restaurant taken by a very friendly couple, prices are good for the amount of food they offer. offer a menu composed of incoming, main and dessert. the main dishes are abundant, I highly recommend the ribs, the burgers are also very good. In particular, I think he lacked salt on some dishes, but they give you a basket with salt so no problems. very good desserts, apple pie is very rich in particular and brownie is also fine. in general a good experience and very friendly workers. If I had to say something bad, it's that at least in February, the service can be a little slow, so I don't recommend it if you're in a hurry to eat. But if this isn't your case then I recommend it"

"Have used the Lua for many years and always been very pleased with the whole experience. The last couple of times we felt the service had deteriorated. Tonight we went and it was awful. We arrived early to have a drink before we went into dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was bought by our usual waiter who, unfortunately, let the tray slip and a glass slipped, smashing and cutting my arm. He was mortified and couldn't apologise enough. My friend went off to find dressings. Sorted, and we went into dinner. 20 mins later and no one had taken a drinks order or enquired as to condition of my arm. We then asked to speak to someone in charge. The manager came over and put a proper dressing on my arm as it was still bleeding quite badly. Still no drinks had arrived nor had our food order been taken. We had ordered some alioli but a bottle of red wine had arrived instead! Despite all of this no one offered any apology for what had happened. Drinks had still not arrived so we decided to call it a day and leave. We will not be back. After many years of giving regular business to Lua this has left a very bad taste in our mouths. It is such a shame as it's a beautiful restaurant serving wonderful food but the service has gone to pot."

"Heard they did fantastic fish and chips so came over from Mojacar. Sadly due to conflict no Russian Cod so that was off the menu. We were disappointed but choose the home made steak and ale pie, It was tremendous so all not lost. Was served by the lovely Dee who was very attentive as well as the young Bar man. Atmospher great, would recommend as all the meals looked well presented and good quality Thank you Bunny for the recommendation, will visit again. Glad we went, Meal 10 out of 10."

"Siempre paso a por los calamares esos duros que dicen que cuestan masticar , porque resulta que están buenos, muy buenos de hecho y soy un obseso de los calamares y la comida en general, voy por que tengo tiempo y puedo pararme a analizarlo, es un calamar, no un bollo leche por el amor al garrulo, espabila que la vida te va a comer!, el sitio es de lo más normal que te puedas echar a la cara, tapas las justas y la comida de menu con sus combinados ...con precios claro ... analiza.. que bar no tiene el precio en la carta , no he tenido la suerte de dar con ninguno, porque así podría regatear o ver si es posible el trueque directamente a cambio de cabras o vacas. Quitando la ironía o la incapacidad del cliente para echar un hielo a la leche caliente, tenemos dos factores a tener en cuenta 1. La cocina es muy buena, ¿quieres medir si un sitio común...de lo más normal, sin florituras, pone más o menos esmero en la cocina? Comprueba sus patatas fritas, es una imagen de como tratarán lo demás, y aquí tenemos unas de corte y en aceites limpios. 2. Cuando en las reseñas de Google aparecen cuentas bot indicando una estrella , sin comentario , sin nada, o dichos comentarios no tienen sentido practico en una situación normal en un bar si se analizan. No seas de la tierra de tus abuelos, es un buen sitio para comer."

"Fuimos un grupo bastante grande. Las ensaladas y las pizzas un espectáculo, aunque al ser tantos el servicio algo lento. Tardaron bastante en tomarnos nota de las bebidas. Y al ser tantos la cena también salió algo tarde. Pero aún así repetiriamos, porque la comida está exquisita."

"Entramos por probar a la hora de comer y se va a convertir en un sitio de confianza para futuras visitas en Vera. Comimos de lujo, excelente sabor y trato del alimento, inmejorable trato en la recepción para sentarnos a comer y precio muy muy asequible. "Absolutely terrible. Been here a few times now and had excellent food and service but this time it was appalling. Table of four, two guests from the uk and their first time at this restaurant. Waited an hour and forty minutes for our main courses. When it arrived, an order of lamb korma was chicken korma, a saag chicken tikka had little or no spinach unless it was pureed into the sauce and a fried rice which was mistakenly ordered as fried rice which was expected to be egg fried rice was corrected without complaint. Sadly instead of preparing a new fried rice the vegetable fried rice was refried adding some egg with the result that it was quite literally sitting in a puddle of oil and inedible. What was the icing on the cake was when I called the head honcho over to express my unhappiness he listened without saying a word. I started off by saying I was not looking for a discount but despite this, he never once offered an apology. Needless to say, we won't going back any time soon"

"Nos lo recomendó un amigo y fue todo un éxito. Fuimos por sus maravillosos caracoles, la gamba de Garrucha y la morcilla y no nos equivocamos, todo excelente. Además de su pan recién horneado con ali olí. El dueño nos recomendó algo típico, el puchero y aunque nos pareció mucha comida, aceptamos. Sin embargo, para 2, al terminar con las 3 entradas, se acercó y nos preguntó si lo queríamos o no sin problema. Le dijimos que ya estábamos llenos las raciones son grandes) y no nos lo sirvió, un detalle por su parte. Volveremos si regresamos a Almería. Un sitio excepcional!!"

La verdad es que acertamos: el arroz con secreto y setas estaba realmente bueno, de los mejores arroces que hemos comido por la zona en los últimos tiempos. Repetiremos algún otro arroz en las próximas veces."
