"Pros: Cosy furnished, (too large selection of very tasty dishes and drinks. Selection between meat dishes, vegetarian and partly vegan dishes. Children's chair available. Children's dishes (pommes or rice with chicken skewers are present, however, are only informed upon request. If you want to go, make reservations in advance, otherwise it will be nothing or only with waiting time! You have to park on the road very full depending on the time, but with a short walk you will definitely find something! Cons: rather tightly chaired; little space for wardrobe (better to take the place and hang over the chair, however, it will be even tighter in the remaining corridors for the walk to the toilet. Unfortunately, there is no more menu like before (single, dim, trim etc. This was, in particular, very nice as a group (and, given the huge selection of other dishes, much easier when one could take it. The staff was uncoordinated during our visit (e.g., two waiters ask for drinks/after we have already paid, we are asked if we want a dessert/food is sometimes incorrect when bringing to the table so that it is not clear what it is etc. Very loud. For eight people we have only received three menus on request. The food comes too fast: appetizer has not yet been eaten, since the main foods are already brought. The empty plates of individual people are already cleared, although other people eat at the table. In my opinion too tight to get through with the wheelchair. No disabled toilet."

"I really miss the words, but to protect others I write. we had ordered 3 dishes first tried×last) with noodles. because all dishes are only with rice, at the very expensive trips 9€ for noodles extra. rice is not going. when we arrived at home, was a small bowl of rice for allegedly 3 people. in our chinese, that would be a part. If I have called this, even a great part that they can come back, we will live 20km away. then we hoped for a really good quality and my eating had no sosse though order.) I would have swallowed it, but I must say at the Chinese in Freiburg surprisingly good quality) at the station at a half price would have cost it 10x better. I was very, very disappointed, even from the unfriendly lady on the phone they can nix but we can never get back."

"Me and my girfriend are often crossing the whole Germany from Poland to France (From Frankfurt nad odra / Slubice to Belfort). During this one day trip we like to have some stops in different cities, at least one to lunch or one to have a dinner. This time we decided randomly to visit a restaurant in the city of Emmendingen (north-east of Freiburg). Thanks to Tripadvisor we did choose one ot the best ranked restaurant (and still affordable). And then the choice was " Vielharmony ".On this sunday evening there was a lot of parked cars in the old city of Emmendingen where is located the restaurant. But still, it was rather easy to park close to the restaurant without paying. First of all, the hosts (either waitresses or owners) were very smily, pleasant, looking friendly at first sight. Then we did like the atmosphere of the restaurant. To be in this city, and in this restaurant, we felt something very peacefull, quiet, distressing. Well, we were very good here.About the choices : on this 23rd april it seems it was the time of Asparagus ! A lot of choices including this vegetable. There is not too much of choices in the card which sound rather good. We did choose the samethings : fishes on the grill with green salad, then as a desert a 'mousse' served with strawberries, then a hot chocolate, all this with as a drink : sparkling water. Free amuse bouche to start, quite nice, even if I can't describe this little thing.The fishes, 3 kind, were well cooked and tasty. Even if my girlfriend felt too much vinegar in the salad, but it's her own taste, because besides, for me it was very ok.Only bad point : the untasty tomatoes. In my opinion it's useless to put something untasty in the recipe. Either choose a good tomato, or do not include tomatoe in the recipe. But except this, it was very good.The dessert was very nice, I mean the especially this interesting mousse. Again : the strawberries were not that tasty, not similar to the tomatoe, but... close. I would say the same thing as for the tomatoe. But it did not destroy the desert. Good hot chocolate. It was rather quickly served, and in a pleasant way. One of the waitress (/owner ?) came to be sure all was ok. Of course, I did not mention the little deceptions about tomatoes/strawberries as it can be felt as agressive. And anyway, I think the cooks know the taste of the product of what they use. Finally the price is really fair. We paid 50 euros and some cents for both, and as overall we were happy we left a tip of 10%.We did really enjoy our time in Vielharmony, and we can only advice this place. By the way we had a little walk in the old city of Emmendingen, which is quite astonishing for us. It looks really nice and we have planned to have a short break other there to discover it."

"Wir waren zu viert an einem Samstagabend da und hatten reserviert. Alle anderen Tische waren schon voll besetzt. Wir bestellt unterschiedliche Gerichte. Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu, Steaks und Schinkennudeln mit Beilagensalate. Als Beilage kann man Pommes-Frites, Bratkartoffel oder Kartoffelgratin auswählen. Die Fleischspeisen waren sehr groß und gut. Die Bratkartoffeln waren nicht aus der Pfanne sondern es waren runde Pommes, schade. Auch bei zwei Beilagensalate waren bei den Tomatenscheiben noch die grünen Stilansätze dabei. Das haben wir bisher in noch keinem Restaurant serviert bekommen. Wenn man also satt werden möchte und keine weiteren Ansprüche stellt ist man im Hirschen genau richtig"

"Das gesamte Angebot ist liebevoll zubereitet & äußerst lecker (Tee, Kaffee, Kuchen, Brote) und der Service ist freundlich & kompetent. Wem es nichts ausmacht, für qualitativ hochwertiges Essen auch ein bisschen mehr zu zahlen, dem wird es im Mahlwerkk gefallen.Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Karte ist seit Jahren die Gleiche, beim Angebot hat sich nie (oder nur geringfügig) etwas geändert. Kommt man hier nur selten her, ist das natürlich kein Problem - daher habe ich es auch nicht übers Herz gebracht, das Mahlwerkk mit 4 Sternen zu bewerten."
