"After walking around the beautiful area for five hours, we decided to dine at this restaurant. We had read online that they offered vegan options, and we were not disappointed! I ordered the vegan fish and chips, which was wrapped in nori seaweed around the banana blossom, giving it a delicious sea-like taste. My wife chose the Moving Mountains burger and she really enjoyed it. Both dishes came with a generous portion of fries. Additionally, we ordered starters - onion rings for me and halloumi fries for her (she's not vegan). To top it off, I indulged in a chocolate tart because it would have been rude not to. The food was all delicious and we had a hard time walking back to our tent afterwards. This is definitely a good thing, in case you were wondering."

After a lovely walk around the dam we had some lovely and delicious food. I chose the Steak ale pie. I'm must say, it was the best pie I've ever had . That's not an exaggeration. Well done.

what a pub! big beer, eating is ineffective. prices are good that they have a lot of it! have stayed a few times in the small building next door. the rooms are basic and completely new feeling with not much character, but this is only my thought and has not influenced my stay a little! will always come back, updated, stayed better than before

ruheplatz. the restaurant is on the main street, they will not miss it. a cozy place in the middle of the landscape, the guest house offers a good selection of breakfast, drinks and high-quality rooms. they have a good breakfast and try to walk the length, it is a best place to hike. they carry enough water and some amount of food to keep them during the walk. remember. the place is not to worry.

Great place to stay, the location is perfect. There’s plenty to do around about. Food was ok the portions were quite small and overpriced. The vegan breakfast was very small there were only dry toast no butter, tomatoes, 2 moving mountains sausages, baked beans and mushrooms. They didn’t have any plant milks so couldn’t have a cup of tea and no desserts suitable for vegans. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-14

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a vegan menu at this cosy pub located in the center of the Peak District. The menu offers approximately four options, including a vegan dessert. I opted for the Moving Mountains burger with BBQ jackfruit and chips, which was a generously sized portion. My friend chose the vegan chilli. Our total bill for two meals and two drinks came to £30. Overall, a great find for vegans in the area.

I read some positive reviews and viewed photos of this restaurant online, but unfortunately they were not recent. I couldn't find any information about a vegan menu on their website, so I decided to call them. The staff confirmed that they do offer some vegan options, although the selection is limited. I visited the following day and discovered that the only vegan dish available was grilled asparagus. Although it may have been delicious, it didn't seem very filling and my husband doesn't like asparagus, so we decided to leave. Additionally, they only had one non-alcoholic beer option.
