"I am sorry to report this restaurant did not meet my expectations. I see from the one other review here this restaurant doesn't get opentable reviews. I suspect this is because their clientelle are not opentable regulars and locals in Llanelli. The steaks are overcooked and not as discribed. The waitors argue this with their customers and do not present a good raport at all. The only good part of my meal was the stilton butter. I will not be dining in here again and would not recommend to opentable customers. They need to satisfy the needs of a better class of dining experience."

Went here a couple of years ago, food was mediocre and many of the party were disappointed or complained at the quality, didn't return so no idea if it's

The food was delicious, and my son loved the lamb dish. However, we were a bit disappointed with the portion sizes for the price. The lack of complimentary bread rolls was also a letdown. Despite these minor issues, we had a good overall experience at the restaurant.

Langostinos in Llanelli was worth the difficult journey through pouring rain. The food was excellent, with the lamb and seabass standing out. The vegetables were great as well. The service was brilliant, and though the ambience was a bit cafe-like, it didn't detract from the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Langostinos Brasserie proved to be a very enjoyable way to use our points! The service was very warm and friendly and the chef was chatting to people who were obviously regulars. Lots of choice on the menu. Can highly recommend the goat's cheese beignets and steaks. Look forward to our next trip esp on a Thu night where there is a free bittle wine per 2 diners!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of choice available on the menu. Our starters were excellant but totally eclipsed by our main courses. My husband opted for the red snapper . He said that it was one of the best fish dishes that he had ever had . My steak was equally delicious, cooked just as I requested. Both portions were very generous indeed. Our desserts and coffees were equally delicious . We will definately go back again

Went to Langostinos on the TT deal. Excellent choice and generous portions. The rib eye on the bone deserves special mention ! as do the cockle and laver bread 'spring rolls '. The crab linguini starter was unexpectedly more oriental flavoured than Italian; and the mushroom starter was partcularly tasty. And the unobtrusive adjoining bar area was friendly and lively, showing the 6 Nations rugby match in this rugby heartland ! all in all, we shall definitely come back

My family of four recently returned to Langostinos Brasserie in Llanelli and we enjoyed a delicious meal. The menu offered a variety of options that appealed to all ages, from 12 to 83, and the desserts were particularly tasty. The only downside was that arriving for our 6 p.m. reservation meant that the restaurant wasn't fully prepared for customers yet, resulting in slightly slow service at the beginning. Additionally, the atmosphere was a bit quiet. Despite these minor issues, we had a very enjoyable evening overall.

"Lovely BUT won't go back. How to run a cafe that stands in the way of making money... I don't know who designed the process at this cafe, but on a Sunday in a park it's a majority of people with kids and dogs. I wanted to pop in and get a takeaway coffee (which they do serve) but I was told by the cafe bouncer (yes there is one) that I had to sit at a table, wait for a guy to come and serve me with an ipad and then I had to wait for others (with food orders) to be served first. I didn't bother. Eventually after the walk we sat down. The food took 45 MINUTES, this was an order of 2 x eggs on toast. 45 ms in a restaurant is just about acceptable but in a park cafe with kids and dogs it was mental. We went up to the counter to buy some crisps to keep my daughter happy in the huge wait for food and was told in no uncertain terms I had to sit back down at the table and order with the waiter for just a packet of crisps!! So you are unable at any point to be able to order at the counter or just pick up say a can of coke or a packet of crisps on the go, you have to sit at a table. They are massively missing a trick here, if they had a small window hatch where they could serve ice creams and coffees and crisps etc to people that were on the go then they'd make a hell of a lot more money doing it this way which causes people frustration, massive waiting times and loses them money IMO. just because things were always done that way doesn't mean that they should be done what that way forever, and I've never seen this process in a park cafe in my life. I actually feel sorry for the for the young waiters and waitresses. The manager I'm sure will vilify my review but before he does perhaps he needs to consider his process may be flawed and not all the people that come here and go through the same thing..."
