war jetzt drei mal dort und das essen ist wirklich top! große auswahl und variation. das gemüse ist nie verkocht und alles ist gutvgewürzt. service ist okay aber nicht hammermäßig

I don't like this restaurant. They do some special Chinese food, but the potion is small, the service is also not up to standard. 因为离酒店近，我们在这里连续吃了两天，老板比较势利眼，看我们昨天没给小费，第二天就对我们冷淡了许多。我们吃到一半旁边来了几位中国使馆的人，老板就热情招待，从头陪他们聊到尾，还把昨天送我们的水果全送给了他们了。

My first visit at Lao Xiang, i was taken unaware by the chinese food. It was the best i had upto that point so ofcouse i went back and tried the same starter again. It was not upto par with what i had the first time around. Everything else was tasty though, so the 4 stars.

Fredag ettermiddag kl 1730. Ingen andre i restauranten, men jeg valgte å stole på Trip Advisor og satte meg ned. Menyen inneholdt såpass mye grisemageretter ol at jeg tenkte dette stedet må være autentoco. Og ja, det rauset inn masse kinesere mens jeg satt der. Men den anda jeg bestilte var slett ikke knuspig hadde blitt varmet opp minst to ganger. Forferdelig. My worst meal ever in Berlin.

虽然刚来柏林，但已经是第二次光临“老乡”这家店了。“老乡”在Prenzlauer Allee的旁边，交通很方便，离S-Bahn走路五分钟。店面装修是我很喜欢的中式风格，桌上会放一些干花，特别有国内的感觉，老板还摆了几个很可爱的兵马俑。我们坐下来之后，老板拿来一摞厚厚的菜单。来德国三个月，几乎没在中餐馆见过这么厚的菜单，菜式很多，制作也很精致。菜价很实惠，平均一道菜10欧左右。我们四个人一共点了4道菜，爆炒腰花，酸菜肥肠，孜然羊肉，肉末粉丝，都是在德国很难吃到的菜。菜量很大，给的肉也很多。店里的米饭很好吃，能够吃到浓浓的米香。因为菜都很下饭，所以让老板添了第二钵饭，老板很实在地盛了冒尖一钵。通行女伴当天身体不太舒服，老板很贴心的过来询问状况，还帮忙到了一杯热水。太有家的感觉了！P.S 之前还吃过他们家的红烧带鱼，猪手煲，干锅...

Die Karte ist einfach unglaublich. Sie ist komplett bebildert mit Gerichten die man in dieser Form so noch nie gesehen hat. Definitiv authentische China-Küche wo alle Teile vom Tier verwertet werden. Wir haben vom Mittagsmenü gekostet, das Hauptgericht war super, die Sauer-Scharf-Suppe eher mittelmäßig. Der Mann, der uns bedient hat war recht mürrisch. Trotzdem 4 Punkte, weil's einfach mal was anderes als nur Ente-kross mit brauner Soße ist.

Das Restaurant erscheint eher traditionell im Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung, bei mehreren Besuchen dominierten die chinesischen oder andere asiatische Besucher, das kann als Qualitätsbeweis gewertet werden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, die Schärfe der als scharf gekennzeichneten Speisen ist nicht für alle Besucher wirklich scharf - für mich nicht - , der Fisch nach Bauernart sollte zum must have bei jedem Besuch gemacht werden, einfach köstlich. Die ausgezeichnete Speisekarte im Netz ermöglicht eine gute Vorbereitung und entspricht der Realität. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

All I can say is that all of the reviews say it all and more! the first night was very busy and although the service was slow it was well worth the wait - pepper ribs to start, sweet and sour pork and beef and celery to follow - Excellent food.Next night - pork dumpling then ribs in black bean sauce and pork kidney stir fry.Amazing food, some of the best we have eaten ever! lovely staff. Be patient and you shall be rewarded. A definite for next time we visit. p.s both ate for less than 50 euros cant say better than that. p.p.s fab for non german speakers too - pictures and english translation too !!

A Berlino per trovare la figlia che vi risiede per studio siamo andati al Lao Xiang, meraviglioso locale dove scegli le pietanze attraverso un menù perfettamente illustrato. La cucina completamente diversa dai nostri ristoranti cinesi di periferia (uniformati sulla stesse pietanze). Una esperienza unica di gusto e soddisfazione per tutti i sensi. Mai mangiato piatti tanto buoni e originali che rispecchiano la vera cucina di un determinato territorio della Cina. Personale gentile e competente senza fronzoli tutto perfetto, ci siamo addentrati anche nel "reparto dolci" che per la loro assoluta originalità non hanno incontrato i nostri gusti (abituati come siamo al solito gelato fritto) ma sple...
