"I cannot recommend this little cafe enough. Food, drinks and service were all absolutely faultless. It was very busy when we arrived about 1pm but we were greeted so cheerfully and helped to find a table. We chose the loaded hot chocolate (to help us thaw out! followed by the soup and toastie combo great value and all the food was homemade, fresh and totally delicious but the particular standout was the Brie, bacon and cranberry toastie. The staff were professional but also really friendly. This is a family business which clearly has a lot of repeat customers. Totally deserving of all the great reviews and I can’t wait to return."

The staff was pleasant and friendly, providing excellent service. The cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had! The outdoor seating was nice. I will definitely be visiting again.

At last a real cup of coffee. There are so many 'coffee ' places where the coffee has no flavour. Larders coffee is delicious and you can buy beans or ground too. Plus you can also have food.

Called in for lunch when we spotted this coffee shop down a little lane. The staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was good. Most importantly the food and coffee were excellent. Highly recommended. View menu

Probably the best cafe in Louth for coffee. If you want a change from the barrister machine (which is also available), you can get your own cafetiere, selecting from 9 coffee beans from around the world. Very good breakfast baps too.

Not a good cafe in the Louth Area. Many better options like, 601 Cafe Bar (Just around the corner) or even a chain brand like, Café Nero or Costa (Both Very close to here). Pretty sure they even have workers who looked to be under 16- not very good quality Cuppa. Just in general, not a nice vibe.

What a gorgeous little venue, had the best breakfast without being a full English) that I’ve ever had and the coffee is to die for.. the service is second to none, they make you feel so welcome that you don’t want to leave, unfortunately we had to !! We will definitely make this our one and only breakfast venue View menu

What makes this small coffee house stand out from other places in the town is the good selection of coffee from around the world. The Guatemalan coffee was superb, and the Brazilian coffee was also of high quality. A few listed were unavailable that day, but I would like to try some Burundian coffee the next time I visit.

We ordered two iced coffees, which came quickly and were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I accidentally spilled one shortly after it was served, getting the table and my wife wet. The staff was very helpful, providing us with paper towels to clean up the mess, assisting in wiping down the table, and even replacing the iced coffee at no charge. This level of service and the friendly staff really made our experience enjoyable.

"Booked stayed at this place very recently having read the excellent reviews. As a very level headed person, certainly not delusional I failed in trying to recognise or match the place based on any of the reviews posted on Booking.com The place, whilst very quaint appealing from the outside is in direct contrast to the inside! In reality, it 's very much in dire need of deep cleaning, redecorating and refurbishing. The food, not sure who prepared the meals in the reviews I read, but fail to see how it could be the same chef as the one that cooked ours! Our meals arrived no less than 40 minutes after ordering. The drinks to occupy us while we waited never did arrive when our meals finally arrived served (if slapping on the table warrants being called served three out of the five items that made up the meal were uncooked, cold unedible! The excuse given by the waitress, is far too busy and understaffed, yet despite not being able to fulfil the job paid for, they still take fee paying guests who are treated far less than second class citizens to the regular clientele supping at the bar! Far too busy but not enough to stop them from taking longer than necessary to laugh talking to the regulars! Needless to say, we ate at other places for the rest of our stay. DO NOT BE FOOLED, as we were by the reviews, which have stayed are extremely questionable indeed! If one is used to using hostels I can see this could be deemed as good, if not excellent accommodation. On the flip side, if one is used to hotels that are clean customer focused then this hotel (a grand name for nothing more than a public house with accommodation not a very good or pleasant one at that is not the one for you!!"
