"We found this place on Tripadviser and emailed to book a table the day before we arrived. The restaurant responded to our email within hours (in English too) and even though the booking was for Valentines Night they found us a table.The restaurant is divided into three rooms and is well laid out with plenty of space between tables. There is very wide main menu and a selection of fixed price 2/3 course selections. We felt that there was ample choice of options.We both had starter (brilliant) and followed this with their signature dish called 7-hour lamb.It was so tender and served with dauphinaise potato (but no vegetables ) which my wife thought she would miss - but we were both full at the end of the mealThe staff were very good - all spoke english which saved us from mangling their language into tiny pieces and embarrassing the other diners.We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service.We would recommend a visit for a dinner when in Lille."

This restaurant exudes quality at a reasonable price. The courtyard setting is wonderful, but even the inside has charm. The menu is very well priced, with the set menu changing weekly. The specials change daily.

Had a nice terrine de raie to start with.Very good.And the main was nice too.Service is good and place looks really nice.Was expecting higher price given the place and food so nicely surprise.Wine was good as well - selected a nice puechaut from Languedoc.

When in France you can't go wrong with steak but how wrong we were. We both ordered steak, it was very fatty and as tough as an old boot plus it was not cooked as requested. For the price just awful, one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. The restaurant itself is nice but lacks character. Staff are friendly. All in all a very disappointing dining experience and definitely a restaurant to be avoided.

Recommended in a Timeout review and it did not disappoint. Beautifully located, set back from the road in a courtyard, this restaurant was both elegant but relaxed. The food and wine were great, as was the service. I dined with friends and we all agreed we would Be very happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lille. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but a perfect choice if you want something a bit special.

Saturday evening, we find place in this restaurant without reserving at 10PM.We both order a main course, a dessert and a bottle of wine for two. One main course is very good and the other, a simple duck thigh, reveals too cooked. Allmost a piece of cardboard on a bone.As for the desserts, the meringue was good while the tiramisu nothing special.For a diner at 85€ for 2 nothing was really worth it's price exept for the wine.

I contacted the restaurant the day before our visit to book a table for our first night. I emailed the owner in English as my French is almost non-existent and had a reply within a few minutes confirming that they had a table for 2 for the next night. They offer a set menu for the week as well as al la carte and as I'd already checked the options on-line we went for the set meal which was really lovely. We also treated ourselves to a bottle of wine. The service was very good, helpful but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend.
