I can only concur with other travellers: Excellent cuisine and the very warm welcome of the team lead by Laurent, the Chef. Exactly the kind of experience one might expect when visiting this beautiful part of Normany. Not to mention, the handful of rooms make it a great option for exploring the many intersting higlights of South Normandy, plus an easy way for ending the evening after diner.

Le restaurant est à la campagne normande.Le menu du midi est à 12.80 euros avec entrée plat dessert 1/4 vin ou cidre, c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le café est à 1,50 euros.La nourriture est très bonne, merciIl diffuse de musique récente en musique de fond.L’accueil est bon.Le couple qui gère l'établissement est sympas et poli ; un bon point.Le service est rapide.En revanche, la décoration fait un peu vieillot.

Super nice chef and waitress with a real sense of service.

Laurent sait magnifier les produits régionaux de qualité, parfaitement cuisinés et assaisonnés. Vous n'aurez aucun scrupule à saucer vos assiettes! Très bonne carte des vins. Le tout à prix doux. Vous vous sentirez comme à la maison.

Menu soir en WE à 25 EUR entrée plat dessert (19,5 pour entrée plat ou plat dessert). 2 entrées, 2 plats proposés : choix restreint mais plus que suffisant compte tenu de la qualité des plats tous faits maison (entrée foie gras ou saumon mariné - plats cabillaud sauce hollandaise ou filet de boeuf grillé sauce au poivre). Des sauces à tomber par terre (oui oui nous avons tous les 8 saucé nos assiettes....). Glaces faites maison également (caramel beurre salé). Une très bonne adresse, nous y retournerons lors de nos périples en Normandie. Chef et serveuse super sympas avec un vrai sens du service.

Il fallait ensuite se restaurer et j'ai exploré les différentes possibilités: rien de très enthousiasmant, sauf l'Auberge des Marais, un établissement tenu par un ancien chef de grands restaurants parisiens au CV prestigieux qui n'ouvre que pour des groupes.Dès l'entrée, on perçoit immédiatement que l'on a affaire à un professionnel qui ne manie que des produits de qualité.
