"We ordered a £54 order. The food didn't arrive so we called the restaurant. We weren't called and apparently the address was incorrect so we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food and they made us pay £3 extra for redelivery when it wasn't our fault. The most outrageous thing about this is that there was a piece of chicken in the vegetarian Singapore chow mein. This is gross contamination and any self respecting kitchen would never allow this. Its disgusting. All my life as a vegetarian for religious reasons and I found my food was contaminated with meat so I could not eat any of my food! Outrageous and so incompetent. Who knows how the kitchen staff handle food properly! The dish is advertised as vegetarian. A gross contamination like this in a other case could kill someone if they are allergic. Terrible, so disappointed."

Very disappointing twice in a row now. Will not be ordering again. Beef with ginger and spring onions was 90% badly chopped brown onion and largely inedible.

As far as bristolian cheap Chinese take aways. This is by far the best. We shopped around when we first moved to Bristol and stumbled across this one. Now I drive all the way from speedwell every time we want this

Salt and pepper boxes are way overpriced. With a sauce it was just off 19 pounds, way too much for 3 chicken balls, few wings, bits of rib. Full to the brim with chips obviously. Tasted fine but how can you justify the price of it. Not impressed.

Placed an order for collection on New year's Eve and food was ready in 20 minutes. Food was very tasty. Ordered 2 different chicken soups, duck with vegetables, and chicken curry. I personally find it very hard to find nice succulent Chinese duck but Laughing Buddah was great. Would happily order again.

I really hate writing this but I have to be totally honest and hopefully the restaurant will take it into account and make some changes. I waited almost 2 hours for my food, which isn’t acceptable it was also cold on arrival. The lady did call me to say it would be 20 minutes late, however it was almost another hour on top of the hour I had waited already. The food is incredibly bland and we didn’t eat it. Total waste of money. Please take these comments on board and not just see them as nasty.

Always like this place and usually have set meals for two or more. On this occasion I ordered a favorite of mine, Special Chow Mein which was dry with no juice or sauce, there were no sliced chicken and pork on top as described, also it was very lacking in bean shoots, they we're hardly noticeable meaning no fresh crunch of bean shoots, just a pile of fairly dry noodles. I won't be ordering this again from here. It was tasty enough and was hot, delivery was ahead of time too. Can't fault this establishment other than this one meal was just not up to standard.
