"This establishment is a Michelan starred restaurant however I would beg to differ. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was adequate, the standout waiter was a lad from Mali, go figure. Ordered the salmon as a starter. It was nice but just lacked flavour. The timber board it was presented on was awful. Main course was the mushroom Pasta dish. It was better but I cook the same at home. Dessert was delicious. Hotel itself looks like it could do with a makeover as it’s starting to look shabby. The garden setting was beautiful."

Classic, elegant hotel. The bar is beautiful, particularly around Christmas. Almost worth making the trip to Bolzano just to stay here.

Perfect. A restaurant offering a very high level of gourmet experience with stylish service. We ate pasta ravioli with pesto and ricotta, or pasta with venison both of which gave an unforgettable taste and visual experience. Deservedly one of the best rated restaurants in the area.

We were anticipating an excellent dining experience and were disappointed. The char grilled lamb chops were excellent. The char grilled octopus was very good, but needs a sauce. The orzotto and culurgiones first courses lacked flavor. The grilled lettuce was so salty we sent it back. Our waiter was haughty and inattentive. He fawned over one table, while ignoring others. The assistant waiters, while inexperienced, were far more attentive. After enjoying many outstanding meals in Italy, this one was just so-so.
