We went here on the hop and were pleasantly surprised. The food is reasonable , the service is good and it had a nice buzz to it. Overall good value and a fun night out.

We had a very warm evening for Normandy, so we enjoyed this restaurant until late evening. It´s nice, quite busy and the food is great - we liked that. Service is fast and attentive and speaks good english.

This is a great little place! Very welcoming, friendly and efficient service and wonderful food! It was a real treat and the atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. Our waiter was excellent and was very accommodating! Definitely worth giving this place a try!

This is my absolute favourite place to eat in Rouen! I eat there once a year when I visit and I've never been disappointed with any of my food. I love the simple menu, knowing that every dish will be a masterpiece - hugely recommended because all the food is locally sourced. Bon appétit!

our restaurant choice was full so we ate outside on the street at this restaurant. Te food was excellent, lightly smoked herring salad for starter was really good and the steak whe it arrived was extraordinarily large but beautifully seasoned and cooked. We went here because it was recommended as very helpful for people with gluten allergies. My wife is gluten sensitive and vegetarian (but will eat fish). She asked if she could have an omelette - NO! Can she have rice please - NO! I ordered raw herrings with boiled potatoes (a very typical Parisian starter) It was ok but only one small potato cut into four. My wife had asparagus which was soggy and limp (lots of fresh asparagus in the markets). We complained about the asparagus and the chef came and demanded "are you staying to eat or do you want to leave?" We said we would leave. If you stick to the two or three dish set menu (which normally guarantees a fair price and fresh food because of the increased turn-over), you will notice that you have the choice of four eligible starters and four eligible mains. I opted for house pate, and the burger. The pate was 'pre-pate' finely chopped meat that was heavily (and badly) seasoned. Clearly, noone had bothered to make a pate out of this, so it was simply finely chopped non-premium meat, unrecognizable, and barely edible. This was followed by a burger. We had dinner at this place, and my daughter left her handbag on the chair and did not realize this until the next morning. When we phoned there was no response and we were told by the other restaurants that this place would be closed for Sunday and Monday and we were scheduled to leave in the afternoon. In a panic we contacted the restaurant next to this place, called La Walsheim. The young lady there called Mathilde, assured us that she would contact the owner and get us the bag before he left.
