"Je ne connais ni le prénom ni le nom de la propriétaire du kiosque où nous avons déjeuné hier ma femme et moi, mais je lui avais promis de laisser un commentaire. Endroit magique où il fait bon se restaurer sur le pouce. La situation est exceptionnelle car dans une rue piétonne très calme, l'accueil excellent, les plats copieux, frais, préparés avec amour et excellent. Vraiment une adresse à conseiller. Nous reviendrons lors d'un prochain séjour sur le bassin. Merci et bon courage. (7.50) and one le Maou`s 10.50) 3 with potatoes and 1 with small salad (letxuga and two egg and tuna ingredients). "My husband and I visited the restaurant one evening in June and unfortunately left very disappointed. For us, however amazing the food is, and that night some of the dishes were very good, the service ruined our enjoyment. Our table was pointed out to us by young waiter, normally not a problem accept to get to the banquet seating we had to remove the table and annoy our neighbours and I would have expected a little more assistance from the staff. We unfortunately needed to constantly remind them of what we needed next, water, wine etc and one of the waiters was not comfortable taking requests from women, he was very rude and patronising and he probably should not be front of house. If I thought the service would be better, I would return. The restaurant rooms create a nice atmosphere, there are some good wines on the menu and some of the dishes offered really exciting flavours. but I think maybe this restaurant has had its day and had too much of a good thing without being grateful enough."

"came to dinner on Saturday night, I forgot to book but it's not a problem once the high season passed. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and freshness of the dishes offered. my nems salad was very good with crispy and slightly spicy nems. The yellow curry chicken had been raised following my request to have a slightly spicy version and it was a treat. As for dessert, tapioca beads with coconut milk, it was particularly successful, which is quite rare in Asian restaurants! expect about 20 euros for the trio entry, dish, dessert with a fresh drink. Thank you again for this dinner that came out of the traditional bistro or French cuisine so present in arcachon!"

"Food was ok but did not live up to the hype. I had the duck and it was very tough. Couldnt finish it. Service was very much lacking. I ordered a glass of wine and finished it right before the meal arrived. The waiter never returned to offer more wine, water or even dessert. I finally flagged him down an hour after we were done eating just so we could pay and leave. Ambience/view was the highlight."
