"It was my third visit, the previous times everything was really excellent but this time unfortunately that was not the case. Waitress was not rude but had no idea how to interact with customers. Little knowledge of the menu or wine list. The starters arrived almost soon as we had ordered them so far to quickly. The seafood soup was tepid (sent back but still charged for) and did not taste of seafood! More like oxo. My poached egg on ham was also tepid and the ham leathery. We asked and lot a resealable break before the main course of lamb which was fine but not amazing. Having dined and loved it here in the past, it was all very disappointing Waitress was polite but no aptitude for the job. Oh dear I do not think we will return anytime soon."

Had lunch as usual. The menu eveloves a little toards modern trends but still French -and moderate spice use(thank heavens! . Still a very good choice for any occasion.

A restaurant we have not been to for some 8 years and delighted that our experience was as good as we remembered and will not leave it as long ever again. Very good in every respect.

fabulous eating excellent service. would be 5 stars, but we sat next to a door that the personal used to smoke outside, not large occasional explosions of cold air smoke. Maybe something can be improved?

Open table needs to update the links to this restaurant. When we booked through Open Table, the 2 and 3 course menu prices shown were significantly less than the actual cost when we got to the restaurant. The setting and ambience is great, staff were efficient, but not particularly interested in our experience. When I asked for a 'Ricard ' as an aperitif, the waiter didn 't have a clue what this was, 'pastis ', got an equally blank reponse but I managed to find 'Pernod ' on the drinks menu and we finally got our drink!
