"Place outside the center of town with a spectacular menu for €15.50 without pizzas or junk food, with vegetables, duck and meat. Idyllic place that we alter with the visit of our children. Very friendly staff that made our day. If we return from vacation we will stop by to eat"

I ate there last night, the kitchen is good but not very refined. I've never seen this before. I chose fish just so I wouldn't eat fries.

Random did that I had lunch at the Gaspacho. Very good meal with trimmed plates, at very reasonable prices compared to the Basque coast where I live. The service is efficient and all friendly and polite staff members.

"After canoeing down the Aveyron River last week this place came highly recommended by the owner of the canoe-kayak company (Canoeing Evasion, I’d happily recommend them too for a smaller scale family-friendly experience). As some have mentioned the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside as beside a Carrefour supermarket and adjacent petrol station. But don’t let the looks of it put you off. As the signs at the entrance indicate, they have been endorsed by the “Petit Fûté” tourist guide for the past few years. The main indoor room has AC and there is a terrace at the back surrounded by greenery. The service is friendly, welcoming and personable without being intrusive. We wanted an early dinner which is not common practice but were allowed in at 6:30pm (they commence serving food from 7pm but will serve you drinks at the table before that). We chose from the set menu which was priced at 23 euros for 3 courses (very reasonable for summer 2022). Starters were deep fried Camembert bites with poached nectarines and side salad and lemon marinated chicken salad, both excellent. Mains were lamb chops and fillet of bass with red pepper sauce, both served with sides of vegetables (carrots and courgettes) in garlic and parsley and homemade chips. Delicious. 5 deserts to chose from (we sampled 4): homemade ice cream, chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, pana cota, apricot cake. The à la carte menu looked good too with choice of salads (option of 2 sizes, grilled meats and fish/seafood courses). Everything apart from the bread and the drink was homemade from sauces to chips, which is rare this days but you could taste the difference. We would happily come back when we return to St Antonin. Thank you to the owner, the waiting staff and the chef for a great (not pretentious) and tasty culinary experience. PS: there is a local brewery next door called belier (ram) where you can buy and sample a beer before you have your meal. Worth a visit."
