"This place has the advantage of grabbing all the French customer from the other side coming over here for shopping. It's a long line queuing when we arrive at However the waiting time is short as people keep coming and going and the restaurant...is massive that it can sit people. We soon get our table and as luck would have it we are next to the self-service drink counter. It's quite handy for us to serve ourselves wine, champagne, beer, tea, coffee, juice etc. The food counters are impressive. I never see such a big variety of food in buffet style restaurant in Europe. I saw better and bigger one in Hong Kong and Canada though) The choices are myriad. All kinds of meat, seafood, rice, pasta, vegetables and salad dishes. The two dessert counters are set up separately in two different end of the food area, which is very thoughtful, and there are plenty of fresh fruit, but the ice-cream is a bit disappointing, just the cheap massive produced cup you can find in wholesale supermarket. I think the fact that the price of general products are much cheaper in Spain, particularly fruit and vegetable, allows restaurant like this to charge a mere per head including drinks, which is more than I can say for some restaurants in France with horrible food and expensive menu."

a set of choices with respect to hearty foods. they can have grilled garnel, grilled chicken, grilled lamb or rabbit as well as all kinds of salads and cold cuts mainly ham. the quality is good, but dessert is not so good. touron was very early. good, but quality is gone. so pau dours flan is not made here with milk and eggs, but with milk powder.

another toucan eat and drink buffet and that was the best yet a limited choice, but what they had was superior to the others I tried before. special mention of the choice of garlands and crabs, both were excellent straight...in and sitting, a visit offered in the beverage area, beer and soft drinks. many appetizers, then a lot of nice warm main courses, followed by a terrible amount dessert choice.

Visited with friends on a midweek shopping expedition over the border from France. No queue at and shown to a table for with nice clean linen and sparkling glasses. Help yourself was the concise dining instruction so we did ! All...the usual suspects plus some tasty Catalan secialities on the hot buffet. Plenty of fish, mosty fried but the seafood selection was limited to prawns, whelks and some tiny crabs and crayfish. The paella was sad and remained undisturbed apart from French grazers who immediately skimmed the meat and seafood from the rice. Desserts were standard Spanish fare with little imagination apart from the flan Catalan. Decent red, white and rose wine on tap. A big plus was al...

"We were staying just around the corner at Les Cluses so we obviously had to try the food. The restaurant is right on the road ( D900 to Perthus). Staff were friendly and greeted and seated the 4 of us quickly. Drinks orders smoothly taken and delivered. Interesting menu at 12, 19 and 29 euros, also al la carte. My wife went for the paella which was huge and stuffed full of prawns, mussels, chicken drumstick and mini pork ribs; I opted for zarzuella which is a fish stew of langoustine, squid, cuttlefish, mussels and chunks of solid fish in an amazingly tasty broth - brilliant and no room for dessert! Our friends opted for roasted Camembert with charcuterie and duck breast. All excellent and costing around 18 euros. Local wine recommended by the waiter went perfectly with the meal. We went back a few nights later and were greeted by the same waiter, he seemed genuinely pleased to see us again. people had repeat dishes but I tried the Fideoua (18 euros) which is basically paella but made with small lengths of spaghetti rather than rice. Again so tasty and enormous, I could not finish it! The ladies had lovely deserts, Baileys over chocolate or coffee ice cream. They said they "were to die for". When we asked for the bill we were also presented with a tiny glass drinking vessel with a local spirit as a digestive, nice way to end a meal. Please don't be put of by the closeness of the road, you can eat inside and the road is not too intrusive."
