for me the best star restaurant in Baden-Baden. from the friendly and easy service of the chefin and the crew via the competent weinberatung to the great kitchen. stephan bernhard brings sensational taste experiences to the teller.

it is the second time that we eat in this restaurant. everything is perfect: the table linen, the service, the delicious fresh food, the distance between the tables and not least no music! it is noticeable that there are many French-speaking tourists. it is an expensive restaurant, but the price / quality is in order. the water is very expensive there!

arrived at the restaurant, we pass a small magnificent courtyard, which directly places us in the atmosphere that reflects the raised interior. the foods were refined and the products were well prepared (until the elder soufflé, quite simply delicious). nothing was too much, but without being intrusive. we had a very pleasant evening, I can only recommend. Wir haben zu fünft einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Wir waren alle von der Qualität und die Varietät des Essens begeistert. Die Aufbereitung sowie der Geschmack (oder eher Geschmäcker) der zum Menü gehörenden Gerichte waren fabelhaft. Dazu kamen die leckeren 'Zwischengerichte ' (Leckereien zwischen den Gängen), die genauso überzeugend waren. Auch die Weinauswahl war beeindruckend es gab für jeden Geschmack einen entsprechenden Wein. Das ganze wurde dank der kompetenten und freundlichen Bedienung ein echtes kulinarisches Erlebnis.

first, the atmosphere in a conservatory-like space was protzig and sterile - both the personal and the general ambiente. the personal was highly humble, uninformed, inattentive and not helpful. for example we have served our own water. the offer of the menu was simple and uninspired - duo from foie gras (two pieces only differently cut) with an overpowered apple compote, vegetables that overwhelms the delicate taste of the wolfsbarschs, and the lamb-carree, also overwhelmed by the olive-rive pairing excellent for the elder blossoms soufflés. overpriced and disappointing!

my wife and I visited the jardin de france during a weekend in Baden-Baden. the surroundings of the restaurant was very beautiful and the first room we entered also. on the other hand, the room on the right side, when they go up the stairs, is not at the same level and the decoration / general atmosphere of this room did not please us especially. we chose the special truffle menu with the food/wine package. the menu announcement was very promising (jakobsmuschelen, geeseber, ...), but at tasting we were quite disappointed.
