"my wife and I visited the jardin de france during a weekend in Baden-Baden. the surroundings of the restaurant was very beautiful and the first room we entered also. on the other hand, the room on the right side, when they go up the stairs, is not at the same level and the decoration / general atmosphere of this room did not please us especially. we chose the special truffle menu with the food/wine package. the menu announcement was very promising (jakobsmuschelen, geeseber, ...), but at tasting we were quite disappointed. In fact, every dish was visually presented a little like that, with truffle discs that were rather roughly placed on the plate ... we had expected some more elaborate and subtle preparations on the basis of truffles. We also found that the Gänseleber courts were unbalanced and we did not smell after truffles. the dishes we liked best were the appetizer with jacobs and dessert (^ vanilleeis with olive oil and truffle), simply but effective. the weeping served to the various directed, made it possible to discover the producers of the region what was quite positiw. all in all we were quite disappointed by eating ourselves and this truffle menu, but the service was very good."
