"I’ve been going to the Nil Bleu for more than 10 years and I’ve always enjoyed their food and friendly service. It feels a bit like being at home at a friend’s. Their new location is smaller but very cozy, and the upper dining room is super pleasant. I love that you can say «  vegan and gluten-free » and they know what you mean. Better yet, that’s what their traditional food is all about. If you like it spicy, mention it when ordering."

Good food, good service, but not perfect. Don't go if you don't like traditional types of food (this isn't a burger/steak place)

It is delicious! The service is pleasant and very friendly. The food is delicious, it's worth going there, especially if you don't know Ethiopian food... these are flavors that you have to discover!

Delicious and healthy traditional Ethiopian food and great atmosphere. They relocated to Avenue Villamont 17, Lausanne this year and they play Blues music in the new venue. Daniel and Tigist are great hosts.

Attention rikiki quantity. Obliged to have a starter and dessert to have eaten enough. A microscopic tea for 5.50. The food is excellent but overpriced for the quantity served. It’s a shame to have to recommend a portion to get enough to eat. Or the restaurant should offer to supplement the portion by bringing a little back automatically. In short, super good but we won't go back.

This is an Ethiopian restaurant, so there are many gluten-free options thanks to the Teff grains that are naturally gluten-free. They serve large meals of vegetables and meat, and you can eat it with teff galettes instead of wheat. Basically, almost everything has saved a few things and the gallets are gluten-free. They also have gluten-free desserts and Ethiopian gluten-free beers (again thanks to teff). The waitress is really nice.
