"We went to the Champel branch for Sunday brunch and never again. The service was slow and haphazard with a 'can't be bothered attitude'. We weren't given menus, our coffee order was wrong, they forgot our bread basket etc etc. Now onto the food. We ordered the Royal Brunch which turned out to a weird selection of bits and pieces all on one plate - like a child had been to a buffet for you and got you a random selection of food. So you had smoked salmon, yogurt, cheese and muesli all in the same plate. Ok so far so bad. But then came the hygiene issue. All jams are served in jars which are used communally - so who knows how hygienic they are. But on discovering a large black hair in the jam it just put us off our meal. We complained to the staff, who didn't seemed bothered (like it was as a normal occurrence). Also flies were everywhere and all over the food and they had gathered a nice selection of dead wasps in their window - yuck. Needless to say we didn't eat much. We were so disappointed and really doubt that we could ever go back. Extremely Disappointing for an international chain."
