"I'd heard about this intimate little Viet restaurant from long-time out if Paris fans. Tried to get in over Tet weekend, but was politely told I was 3 months late...Very glad I tried again last night. Despite being Monday, the place was packed when we left, with visibly happy regulars. Without asking the lovely owner improvised a special birthday treat for my 13 year old grandson Baptiste. She was relayed by the boss, who was as witty as she was charming. Oh, and the food was absolutely delicious and copious."

le palanquin is our popular restaurant every time we have visited paris. mr. tuan, the chef is the warmest person to welcome us with his authentic Vietnamese desires. Sometimes he also fits the menu to give us special household dishes. every time we bring our child, our friends, they enjoy eating in le palanquin.

Mediocre food. Average service. Way over priced. A rip off! Thumbs down. It’s 2018 and there are so many Vietnamese restaurants that I’m not sure why this place would charge so much for 1/4 of the portion of a regular plate. It’s not fine dining. The restaurant is super small and claustrophobic. Definitively not recommended.
