"le pont de brent is an iconic institution that is 3 stars under chef gerard rabaey and 2 under his successor st. decotterd. after two covid induced locks in 2020 and 2021, decotterd left to take over the restaurant of the nearby glion hotel school and. the place was taken over by a young dynamic couple in early 2022. they give le pont de brent a new leasing contract, have refreshed the spatial features and the dining room(s) that was really needed are refurbished. there are three menus that have a business lunch menu and two gastronomic menus (the latter price 160 and 190 chf.) we took the 7-course menu and it was very pleasant in the did, with a series of directed that they would not expect on a menu like cauliflower as the first starter. turbot and kalb were first class, the turbot stood out in particular. only the dessert was a little pale in comparison. the service was attentive when a trifle formal and formulated (identical formulations for the introduction of each plate that appeared very studied) it was also extremely effective to finish a seven-course lunch in just over 2 hours 5 minutes additional time between each curs can be considered. the bottle wein that we had J.P novelle fusion 2018 was very good, but the brandup was about a factor of exactly 3.6 compared to the price of the bottle in the online shop of the winzers. all in all a welcome addition to the gastronomic scene of the riviera with a revised weinlist and some more rodage in the kitchen and service that stars will certainly return."
