"This establishment came highly recommended. Sadly it failed to meet our standards. The food was well presented, but so salty the flavours were hidden and left you grabbing for water. There is really no need for so much salt other than trying to mask tasteless food or the chef has lost his taste for salt . Cut the salt let the flavours of the food come through. The front of house staff , I would of expected a better dress code , not jeans and trainers . The young lady with tattoos on her arms on full show is rather tasteless and some people find these quite offensive, long sleeve blouse needed ."

We went with a Groupon, our meal was excellent and even though some items exceeded the price limit we were not charged. We had a great evening and will be returning.

a wonderful night. the lemon tree has just been renovated and must appreciate the decor is very special, modern, light airy eating is very cheap, there is a wide variety of choice for all courses and a very impressive drink list highly recommended

I went to the Lemon Tree with friends from work. The restaurant is lovely, great service, good range in the bar and the roast dinner was just fabulous. The best roast dinner I've ever had. The chocolate fondant dessert was delicious too. From a group of 12, no one had a bad word to say. We'll definitely visit again.

I live in London but needed to be in Wrexham for the day, so spent a night here. Chose the hotel for its location and that I could bring my dog, I hadn’t really paid much attention to the restaurant/ menu. So I was totally blown away by the food. It was absolutely delicious, both dinner and breakfast. Staff are really friendly and nice too. Highly recommend

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I had a great experience. The coffee was excellent and the crispy beef salad was delicious. We sat in the small annex section of the restaurant. The service was a bit slow and parking can be tricky if you have a large car, but overall it was a superb experience. I would have given it 5 stars if not for those minor issues. I definitely plan on returning in the future. View menu

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant tonight. We used a Groupon voucher, so the meal was a great deal, but the food was also incredible. I ordered the pork, which was cooked perfectly with delicious veggies, while my wife had the lamb suet pudding with veggies. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed light fruit dishes with sorbet, which were also delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

We received a gift voucher from our daughter for Christmas and decided to use it for a special dinner tonight to celebrate the birth of her baby. The experience at the restaurant was fantastic. We enjoyed a two-course dinner for two, along with drinks. My husband had a pint while I had a cocktail. We also asked if we could upgrade to a bottle of wine by paying the difference. To our surprise, they removed the cost of the cocktail and pint, so we only paid for the bottle of wine. It was a delightful gesture and we can't wait to come back again.
