"This little restaurant is a real find. There's nothing bought in and put in the microwave at this place and you know it because the female chef likes to come from the kitchen to meet her guests for a chat. I started with fried sardines with salad and my husband had mixed fish salad (herring , smoked salmon etc ) with salad. These were both well flavoured and good. The mains were the stars of the meal. I had pork loin with dried mushrooms. The sauce was just the best! You only get this from using well flavoured home made stock , fresh ingredients and 20+ years of practice. SO GOOD. My husband's chicken with fig was , amazingly , as good as my main. To finish I had babba à rhum. Yummy sweet rum sauce, whipped cream with blue sprinkles to appeal to the child in me ! My husband had a delicious crème caramel with a surprising twist in that it had liquorice in it. Delicious. We drank rosé and red wine. Local wines ,and when you're in the côtes du Rhone that's a good thing !The young waitress made us feel part of the family. All in all a great meal and excellent value."

Delicious food served with the warmth of a loving home. The proprietor is delightful and clearly explains generous offers in French, English or Spanish. A lovely dining experience, I'll be back with family and friends!!!

What a lovely place this was! It is small (not many tables) and intimate in terms of close proximity to your neighbors. We met and visited with other travelers while we dined. The food was very, very good, and the owner/chef personable. Reservations are helpful,...as the space fills up.

We walked for dinner with out a reservation and they took the time to fit us in. This is a very small restaurant seating 20-30 people and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The menu is limited, 4-5 entrees and 4-5 plates with some vegetarian options. Very reasonably priced at about 20 euros/person plus wine.

Great place, locals love it here. One gentleman said he had been coming here for 15 years. Chicken pate with salad was tasty with grilled onions and currants. Gineau fowl was delicious. Pork with mushrooms was tasty along with polenta. Home made dishes with taste of love. Wonderful wine and served with love! She even gave us lollipops to go!

We were staying near this quirky restaurant which does not stand out from the outside. We went there on our last night in Avignon.We read many good reviews and were not disappointed. A welcoming warm atmosphere which made for a very relaxing evening.The owner explained...the menu and the dishes were delicious. I had a chicken dish which was beautifully cooked with tasty vegetables including one brussel sprout..it may sound ridiculous but, as an accompaniment, it was the best sprout ever tasted! Wonderful cheesecake for dessert. For an unusual but very satisfying dining experience this is a real treat and very good value for money.
