"My daughter and I came here for a quick lunch. We were pretty satisfied with the meal.Location: very central location, easy to find. The restaurant is at the start of the Fbg des Ancetres, not far from the main intersection with the Fbg de France. It is a 10 min walk from the station. As we went in winter, I saw no outside sitting option, but as it is with many french restaurants, they might have tables outside in nice weather. Quality: I orderd a ham and mushroom pizza (Romaine) and my daughter took the "Plat de jour" tagliatelle with salmon. The quality was pretty good. The pizza crust was thin and the pie was cooked in a wood oven, which was nice. I thought the quality of the crust was not that good, however, it reminded me of store bought dough. But overall, it was pretty good. My daughter was pleased with her meal. The portion size was very nice.Service: this place gets busy at lunch time, so don't expect a chatty waiter. However, our waitress was nice, to the point, and everything came out as ordered. I got up to go to the counter to pay, as it seems to be the custom here. I overheard other waiters, and they seemed nice and cordial as well, so no issues with the service.Price: For a pizza, a plat du jour, a Perrier and a 1/4 pitcher of wine, the bill came to €29. Can't go wrong there. The menu does offer a variety of meat and fish dishes, most priced between €15 and €20. Overall, we had a nice, and quick meal. I would certainly consider going again, but probably only if I am in that part of town. I'm not sure I would make this a destination. But again, it was fine. The food was good, the service pretty friendly, and the price more than fair. Enjoy!"

Frozen pizzas from a supermarket taste better. Nobody speaks English. Don't go there. Speciality makes pizzas. You better approach

Located at the quay side (clue is in the name) we visited at night but no doubt there is a great view in daylight. Don't be put off by the slightly 'fast food' ish outside appearance, this is a student town so they have a modern edge. The menu reveals a different story once inside, this is a traditional restaurant with great qualities at reasonable prices. All the dishes have a regional product twist to them, so pizza it may be, but its french-comte style. There were specials on the board and pre-dinner cocktails at only 6 euros were excellent. Great portion sizes, everything freshly cooked no reheats or frozen here. Great friendly host who spoke English and was charming. Was very happy to e...

"... not just... On our way we found this Indian restaurant, cried and asked about the dog and the cook told us it's okay. When we arrived, the waiter was really not thrilled about the dog, but the boss offered us a table at the side. Menue came fast, also drinks, but had to wait some time to order the food. We ordered some bread, it came together with some dives. We also ordered fried onions, they came later, but no one told us that the dips were for the onions, so we ate them with garlic bread. Bread and dips are very tasty, onions okay. We also asked for new dips, was not a problem, but needed his time. Then came the second dish, two kinds of rice and a Dal. We don't know Indian food, but there was no explanation and we didn't know one of the rice dishes was the second main course. In the end we had left the “normal” rice we thought for the second dish. But we like rice, so we asked for more dips for rice... never arrived. So we wanted to pay. Just the question of whether we're done, we said yes. Forget the dessert, but not a comment. We remembered that there was a dessert with the menu and then asked, we told them we had forgotten. Again, the not really friendly waiter told us that there are ice cream or dairy, but we said the boss told us something else. But okay, we'll take the ice. Finally, one of the menue desserts came, there were two to choose. But no question we prefer, not the ice, we chose. Everywhere it was vegetarian, the boss was pretty friendly, the dog could go with us. Menu was average, waiters really unfriendly, no explanations at all."
