A great moment! A little like home, or friends... If you like contact, warm exchanges with the boss, the staff, ... and even, sometimes, with other customers, this is a place I warmly recommend!

"arrival at 12:30 with 2 children. 20 people in the room. a couple arrives and settles after us too. 1:00 p.m. we didn't come to take our order but the couple's order, if! we feel so transparent. The order has been placed and we need a little water and a beer. Nothing even comes a piece of bread to make the children wait. we are witnessing the incessant parade of people who want to eat that we refuse with the full mention while several tables are empty. 13:30 always nothing not a word or a look or an invitation to wait by some amuse-gails or a syrup offered to children. My husband is going to get a bottle of water in the car, the kids are thirsty. or is the water carafe? 13:40. Always not served. We get up and we get back to the car. Too much. It's long and even dogs are entitled to a bowl of water in restaurants! The waiter finds the time?!...to continue on the angry parking lot telling us that we are too pressed and that we are served! No thanks! we're not hungry anymore and want to enjoy the nice weather to visit the palace. but the server tells us that if we were more patient (1h10. Is it bad already? the meals would have been offered to us! Never heard such a terribleness! I'm a daughter of restaurateurs and a graduate in tourism, you're hurting the profession and the tourist site. and I make it clear that leaving a restaurant this way is not a custom and it has ruined our only family holiday day. You have to react quickly!"

"We went for the Easter menu with 4 adults and 2 children (7 and 10). The Easter menu consisted of a choice between 2 entrees (trio of foie gras, asparagus), several main courses, cheese and a choice between 2 desserts (pavlova,Easter egg). The trio of foie gras was fine, the asparagus entre was good, except for the asparagus mousse, which was ice cold. I think that it would have been better served in ambient temperature. The restaurant have a children 's menu, but our kids took the Easter menu with us and for the main dish, the restaurant kindly provided smaller dished for the children. One of them had lamb and the other had entrecote. Both kids wolfed down their main dish in no time. The entrecote was cooked exactly as asked and the lamb was good. The same comments the adults taking the entrecote and the lamb. One person took the fillet of St Pierre and reported the fish to lack taste. One person took the Turbot and though that it was good, both in taste and cooking. Both fish dishes were however served with a bean puré, which was way too peppery. All dishes were served with a potatoe gratin (gratin dauphinoise) which was very good. We had the house rosé wine, also good. The cheese was good but nothing extraordinary. The pavlova dessert was served with a fresh fruit sallad. It both looked and tested good. The almost egg dessert was a chocolate cake served in a half chocolate egg with a strawberry sorbet. Really delicious and well presented. We did not even see the chocolate cake on son 's plate before it had disappeared... The ambience of the restaurant is that of a simple countryside restaurant, without any exagorated decoration. The staff is very friendly and the quality vs price is correct. The restaurant is popular with the locals, who are looking for a nice moment without anything fancy. In the summer there is an outdoor terrasse looking out at a small lake, around which you can take a stroll after lunch."
