"My fiancé and I spent the weekend in Biarritz with our friends from Pau. We were having drinks at a bar a few blocks away and my friend asked the bartender for a dinner recommendation. He suggested L’Etable because it offered quality dining at a decent price. When we arrived, the host informed us it would be a 45 minute wait but the smells wafting from the kitchen had us sold. Everything on the menu looked incredible and we trusted our local friends to order starters. While it was my first time eating duck hearts, I don’t think anyone could make them better than L’Etable. They were truly incredible. I guess I was on a duck craze because I ordered the roast duck topped with foie gras cooked to the chef’s recommendation. It came out perfect, incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Thank you L’Etable for one of the best meals of my life."

Great restaurant in the center of Biarritz. Everything is delicious here. The staff is great too! They truly deserve their rank in the best place to eat in Biarritz!

what to say: very welcoming staff, delicious typical dishes. two years ago we wanted to test this address, it's done and we're happy. a correct slate for the proposed quality. Go on without further delay, booking to advise!

One of the tastiest meals I’ve had. I got the menu deal, which included the duck hearts, Basque hake, and rice pudding. The service was attentive and warm, making people feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend L’Etable. View menu

The main meal (duck, cooked two ways) was so big and delicious that I had no room for desert. Nice wine too. Staff were very helpful. I'd give it another half star if I could. 4.5/5. Can't give it 5...needed to taste the deserts...haha

We got he pork ribs from the regular menu and they were way too much for us to eat I think the portion on the menu of the day is a bit smaller. But the food was great as was the service. I heartily recommend this place, especially if you are hungry.

"We had only one night to enjoy Biarritz. Our research led us to dine at Le O2 Verdun. It was the perfect choice. Francois took care of us all evening. He was both charming and perfectly attentive. He thoughtfully helped us chose our dishes (there were a couple of additions to the prixe fix menu) and Francois helped describe each dish to us because our French is not so good! The chef/owner is so incredibly talented! This is a Michelin star quality restaurant but it is inexpensive. Don’t let the low fool you! The quality of the dishes and their ingredients was exceptional! Every morsel of every dish was amazing, from the bon bons filled with local cheese and ham that melted in your mouth to the homemade foi gras, to the cod with peppers and spices that were so subtle but perfect, to the calamari special in a garlic sauce that was divine! Their chocolate fondue and brioche French toast were delicious! We were stuffed! All of that deliciousness for less than 60 Euros, 29.90 each! Of course, we paired it all with a variety of white and red wines. Francois was kind enough to help us as we chose each glass to pair with the food. Their wine list was not very extensive, but there were plenty of good choices at more than reasonable prices, both by the glass and by the bottle. If you have one night free in Biarritz, you MUST try this restaurant! You will be so happy you did!"
