"It is newly renovated chateau hotel by Swiss family and the place looks magnificent the gardens are pleasant and on a hot day To sit on terrace and listen to sounds of the cicadas. So disappointing is the service . We were not welcomed just sat at our table there was no pleasant chat or anything that made you have a connection to the staff member ... it was stiff and regimented Mechanical it reminded me of my hoteliers school days at Caesar Ritz Lausanne... that is now years ago ... this is à bistrot you should feel relaxed. There was just staff doing service and a helper but all seemed rushing about. Just dropping your meal to you and walking off.... my daughter and I had the steak and lamb only other option was fish and no vegetarian choice . The food was good nicely cooked dessert of chocolate and coffee to follow was pleasant.Would have felt more welcomed if some one had taken the time"

"we found this family-run restaurant serving exceptional authentic eating and a pleasant experience. nothing imaginative, just hearty and reasonable expensive. the exterior was beautiful and quiet; the dishes are still prepared by the proud 86-Jo cook, the much younger and. seems to be full of energy. his wife cares very well about diner, efficient with a smile.
