Locale carino ricavato all'interno di una corte. Abbiamo mangiato i tagliolini ai funghi ed erano veramente buoni e cremosi. Gentilissimi i proprietari/

Il posto è molto carino, anche i gestori sono stati gentili ed accoglienti, abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di salumi e uno di formaggi.....quello di formaggi era veramente molto buono.

Il locale è situato in un cortile al quale si accede attraverso un portone con corridoio. I tavolini sono nella corte, mentre il bar è situato nell'angolo a sinistra . Accoglienza cortese. Aperitivi con stuzzichini. Rondini che volteggiano all'imbrunire. Luogo da visitare.

Il cortile intimo e ombreggiato ricorda le sale da tè arabe dell'Andalusia. Arrivati dopo le tre con la mia ragazza chiediamo per il pranzo e il cortese personale rimette in moto la cucina. Veramente buono il cibo, la carbonara con l'uovo crudo al punto giusto e anche le lasagne buone. Sembra di essere a casa.

camminando per le strade di san giulio abbiamo scoperto questo posto all'interno di un cortile incantevole e riservato, ottimo per riposarsi in serenità. la scelta del menu non è ampia ma è ottimo per un pranzo tranquillo. This is the place to lunch in Orta san Giulio. The focaccia selection, mixed meat and cheese board, buratta ? and tomato salad were all delicious and served by friendly staff. Then come back later in the day for tea and torte! Great tea selection, tea leaves, served in a tea pot . This was our sanctuary away from the madding crowd.

On a half day trip to Orta, we came across the Idea Dolce, in a small courtyard off the main street. It was unique as you'll see by the pictures. We decided to have 2 glasses of local red wines along with a piece of Apple Strudel. The wines were excellent, as was the strudel.The service was very good and the staff friendly helpful. It is certainly a cafe to visit while in Orta. Judging by the menu it would be a good place to have an evening meal.

One of many choices in Orta S. Giulio, Idea Dolce has the advantage of having an internal courtyard that offers shade both from the afternoon sun and any downpours that might come through. Quiet, laid back, with some corners to relax in. the menu is very simple, offering a few rustic choices (I had a very satisfying cured wild boar sausage, thickly sliced with some bread on the side to help carry you through. Prices pretty good for the location and service was friendly. TIP: wait to be seated, rather than just grabbing the nearest table ; View menu
