"I've visited the Cafe Bar a few times now, and always find the atmosphere both welcoming and relaxing. I feel that I would feel quite comfortable if I wanted to call in on my own. They do cater for vegetarians, and the food is unfussy and fresh. I had a cheese and onion marmalade sandwich and was very pleased with the fresh leaf salad and balsamic dressing that came with it. The other plus for me is that it's never over busy like some of the other places nearby."

I went to the Drill Hall when there was live music playing and grabbed some drinks and snacks. The prices were a bit high for what was offered and there were limited options available.

I had a great time at the Lincoln Drill Hall after its excellent renovation to watch this year's Christmas panto, Aladdin. The production was brilliant, very funny, and thoroughly entertaining. Well done!

Can't speak for Event evenings, but during the day this is the place to take friends. It's quiet enough to chat, beautifully clean and serves sensible sized portions from a snack menu. Great for children too.

A nice place to go for a relaxing coffee, especially if they have music playing during the lunchtime hours. Didn't have any food, as I arrived after the menu had finished, so they were preparing for the evening events in The Drill Hall itself. Definately will return.

The restaurant has a great staff, offers lovely food, and prices are reasonable. The only downside was the extremely small car park on the side of the restaurant, where even disabled individuals were charged £4.50. However, there is alternative parking available nearby.

We often come here on a saturday between 12 and 2 because it's a really nice atmosphere with some really talented musicians playing here. The food is very reasonable, they do a very nice pannini. They also have very nice cake and coffeee for £2.80.The staff are always very efficient and polite. All in all a very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

The Drill Hall Cafe Bar is a wonderful cafe with a great selection of food. I particularly enjoyed the coffee ice cream during my visit. The cafe also has a designated area with children's toys, allowing parents to relax with a cup of tea. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. It's worth a visit, even if you're not attending a show. I recently learned that the cafe is run by a charity.

While staying at a hotel nearby, I found this community hub online and decided to have lunch there. Unfortunately, I arrived after the lunch hours, so I settled for some delicious coffee and cake instead. I was intrigued by the project and enjoyed the lively atmosphere, with regular patrons engaged in conversation. The attached stage and upcoming events seem promising, and I am already looking forward to returning in the early spring during a visit to the city.

"From the outside, it looks like another tacky eatery in a street lined with tacky takeaways. Walk through the door and pleasantly surprised. A little deli counter, a back room then a garden. The garden overlooks a derelict abandoned overgrown garden. Not a problem, I am used to this in Athens. What is the problem, and I don’t see in Athens, tenants throwing rubbish out of their windows into the garden. It is ideal breeding ground for rats. The local environmental health should investigate, and if needed carry out enforcement action. To sit outside or not? Maybe too cool when the sun went in, and too hot if it came out as no shade. I decided to sit inside, near the back door. A red rose on the table is a neat touch. I was the only diner. Oh but we were busier earlier. Strange how I am always told, if you’d have been here when you weren’t here, we were busy. The menu was singurly uninspiring. Why panini’s? Everywhere does paninis. I have never understood why. Or pasta. The choice penne (which I don’t like), or spaghetti (which I dislike slightly less) I chose spaghetti Bolognese. It arrived seemingly quick. I was asked when I placed my order, did I wish for Parmesan cheese? It was added in the kitchen. Usually brought to and added at the table. Spaghetti Bolognese is not an Italian dish. It was an artificial dish with elements of North and South. The spaghetti mediocre at best, the Bolognese sauce excellent. I was going to leave but decided to stay. I chose tiriamasiu for dessert. Coffee, Illy, no thanks. For coffee walk to Madame Waffle or Coffee Aroma. I visited a couple of weeks ago, the previous week I found closed."
