Little Italy Bamberg

We had delicious lunch at the restaurant's terrace. I ate mushroom risotto and it was excellent! My husband ate pizza with spinach and mushrooms and it was also good. The service was excellent!

For family visits 2018/2019 dinner in Little Italy. Very friendly service, beautiful authentic ambience. The dishes, risotto with seafood and grilled Octopus with vegetables and potatoes were good.

After all in the Corona crisis, I have pizza to go. The price is quite remarkable. The pizza was a tasteful experience. The ingredients are high quality and the composition is round. Speaking of: The little Italy has moved to the Schranne 80m! View menu

Like many German restaurants, there is not a person greeting arrivals asking for table preference and size but simply stop anyone and they will be happy to help. Sitting at a table outside (why would you sit inside and miss all the history around you?), I enjoyed a nice pizza (Diavola), preceded by some crostinis. The food was quite tasty and, as mentioned earlier, the setting was unique. The staff were friendly and helpful and the experience was memorable.

My sister and I came upon this whilst strolling round Bamberg and we are SO glad that we did. Vincenzo, the waiter, was great and nothing was too much trouble. The portions were fabulous. I had a pizza and my sister had a wonderful salad. The house red and white were very drinkable. It has a lovely calm atmosphere and we could have stayed there all afternoon and will definately be back. All in all a lovely welcoming restaurant and very good value for money. The other diners food also looked fantastic. A real find in a lovely city and not far from the Dom.

Very nice, nicely furnished restaurant with tables inside and outside in the big old town of Bamberg. At a stop on the way to Italy we ate here - the food was just great for a restaurant of this price class and ready to the point: it tasted very good! From the small but fine card we had ordered crostini, freshly made tagliatelle with quinces and a fantastic bread salad. As dessert two large pieces Tiramisu with espresso, with water, a glass of wine and a cellar beer. 50 euros for a super food and beautiful, very friendly service we found completely ok. My husband and daughter and I wound up here because the Vietnamese restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn't open yet and we were pressed for time. What a happy accident! It was fully booked at 7:00, but at 5:30 we were given a table. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Unusual for me, I ordered a pizza, and it was unequivocally the best pizza I have ever eaten! The spicy vegetarian, it had a super-thin almost cracker-like crust, topped with veggies, pizza, and a surprisingly spicy hot sauce (nice in Germany!). Our daughter had a seafood trio she enjoyed every bite of, and my husband liked his octopus. Dessert was a beautifully presented pear cheesecake....

The small Italy is located in the heart of Bamberg. It has a small outdoor terrace and a very nice interior. Outside you sit very quiet and pleasant. The family-run Ristorante, as I suspect, is characterized by a kindness that unfortunately is rarely found. The food map that can be overlooked happily indicates that what is found there must be good. And so it was. Oh, I could have tasted one of the oval pizzas, but we already had pizza in Aposto (very delicious). Alora: as Prespeeise Crostini (yes, there they are) wow, as an opening precisely the rich (with whom they are made, it reads, absolute top class). Our main course was pasta, which are homemade, there was Ravioli with Sampi and Zuchin...

How were there yesterday for dinner and were extremely satisfied. In addition to the friendly service we were surprised with modern Italian cuisine. Fresh high-quality products are used. I like to spend 2 euros more. As a small example: we had starter eggplant, zucchini, fresh tomato sauce and quinoa, refined with roasted pine nuts.. Quinoa and pine nuts I use myself at home, these ingredients are not very inexpensive. The pizza was covered with buffalo mozarella, no cheaper gouda or cow's milk mozarella. Furthermore, my pizza was covered with pear and gorgonnzola. Also high-quality products. The selection of pizzas on the menu was difficult for me, everything was very good and interesting....
