"Not wheelchair accessible. Had to leave mine outside as tables were too close together to get a wheelchair around the tables, or I would have been knocking into everything. Struggled with just a pushchair. The need to replace the highchairs as none of them have straps on and a toddler can easily get out so couldn't really relax and enjoy the food properly as we were constantly getting her to sit back down. The waiter didn't listen very well. Asked for a vanilla and a chocolate milkshake but got two chocolate ones. They tasted just like every milkshake in a cafe. Nothing special, which was disappointing. The breakfast, however, was delicious. It's nice to have the bacon and eggs cooked properly and the beans not stewed. I'm pretty sure the hash browns are actually homemade. The sausage was a good size and nicely seasoned. If they are not, they are really good remade ones. Avit on the pricey side, but you pay for the quality of the products, and it's ALOT better than somewhere like wetherspoons. Will definitely go here again for breakfast."

easy eating for good money! very busy, but this is a good thing, showing that it is a good place. personal very friendly and patient. I went with my sister and granddaughter, we had 3 children with us, two were in the child's chair, so it was tight.

Just passing through Huntingdon and wanted a quick lunch. Ordered a sandwich each and a plate of chips to share. WOW Loads and loads of delicious chips and the ham salad and chicken sandwich were so full!!! This place is a gem, reasonably priced, great menu. Give it a go!

"We 're looking forward to trying the Pheasant again on a normal day. We went on Boxing Day and it was pretty disastrous. Meant to be a treat but it certainly wasn 't. Starters were nice, no cooking involved apart from the pesto. Then the mains. The beef was grey, not pink as I was told it would be but it was tender. The roast potatoes tasted a bit old but there were plenty. The Chantenay carrots were very soft. The Savoy cabbage was perfect but the portion was tiny. The gravy was nice but we got a different variety when we asked for more. The Yorkshire pudding was the main disaster; it seemed old, and very hard to the point of shattering. Desserts. The sticky toffee pudding was fine although the serving of sauce was very mean. The clotted cream with it is, in my opinion, the best way to serve this pudding, it 's a relief from all the sweetness. The apple crumble was terrible; it came in a bowl with the custard already in it with the pudding. The apple was sour and the crumble was squidgy stodge. The service was fine although some staff not yet fully professional. We would have expected a welcoming hello and goodbye but that didn 't happen. Our overall feeling was that there was serious penny pinching going on with the mains and desserts but this is a very bad idea when you are judged on your last meal but we do intend to try again because it 's such a wonderful building and we 've had many good experiences in The Pheasant, perhaps before the present owners, we 're not really sure."
