Fantastic atmosphere combined with OK food and great wine. Pre-course local cheese-plate, sliced beef for maincourse and 2 bottles of premium wine. 90€ for two persons. Worth a visit!

Ottimo pranzo. Tempo lunghi ma piacevolmente giardino. Antipasto a base I castagne, tagliatele di castagne con ricotta, tortelli al sugo di noce, cheese cake. Tutto ottimo. Assaggiare la china.

Visited in 2015 for lunch. It's a true authentic place with so much charm. It felt like a working lunch as I was with my wedding planner, planning my wedding for 2016. Perfect place to start setting the scene. Will be back Food was simple, but equally gorgeous the best value ever.

Get there pretty close to 132 or you won 't get a table. Ask for the working lunch or Pranzo di Lavoro Be ready to understand as many of the options you 're offered, in Italian. Pick a soup or pasta, a meat or salad course, a side dish, wine coffee water, eat until you can 't eat any more and leave for a tenner. And it 'll still be the best bowl of pasta you remember.

A mio parere la migliore soluzione per mangiare in centro di fivizzano senza pizza o farina. This is a small family ristorante which we really enjoyed. We stopped by for lunch around 13:30 and the place was full. We were seated right away. Most of the patrons were working folks, although there was a large table of a British family. The menu was on a hand written piece of paper in italian (always a good sign! . There was a fixed price (12 euro menu with just 3 choices (another good sign! . My wife I both ordered the local specialty Testaroli with pesto. This was the best Testaroli I had during our stay in the Lunigiana area. We also had a very nice plate of roast beef. Our 2 caffes and a half litre of vino were included in the price. Grazie mille!

Just had an incredible lunch here, the food is amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the setting is magical. Eating in the ancient ‘keep’ of a castle that was first documented in 1044 is ‘living the history’. My wife enjoyed a tasty tagliatelle with porcini, while I had the mixed grilled meats. We split an order of the pillowy soft oven baked potatoes. If you dine outside, you’re treated to a majestic view of the castle, and church that was incorporated in the 15th century when the castle was rebuilt following an earthquake in 1481. This family run restaurant continues to be a popular ‘draw’ for locals from miles around. We’ll return whenever we’re in the area.

We were told this restaurant was good, but we were blown away by the originality and quality of the food. The menu is seasonal, so we had 3 kinds of sliced mushrooms (fried, raw with lemon, and grilled), all of which were outstanding. We also had an unbelievably good charcuterie, with specialties of the region. Some of us had chestnut pasta with ricotta and others had pasta with mushrooms both were delicious. The panna cotta with chocolate had us licking our lips. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s remote, but well worth finding. But check hours when we went it was only open for lunch.
