Stopped here while I’m Fivizzano for an amazing, slow lunch. A plate of various appetisers, pasta and gnocchi, and grilled shrimp, with wine. Highly recommended.

absolutely not to be missed. fabulous dishes and brought more than abundant. I recommend the land appetizer (the potato cake is unique) and pork with mushrooms. to sweeten the chestnut crust with maroni jam. honest prices. highly recommended.

Wonderful food, caring and careful service, catering really well for our various dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian) with realaly delicious meals. I have visited Italy several years running and I would say this is one of my absolute favourite restaurants. Please go and see for yourselves! Thank you Il Sogno, from Marianne.

When you see local people eat at a restaurant, you know the food must be good. We were with 11 (6 adults, 5 children) and had the antipasti, meat, gnocchi, vongole. For the children they made pasta pesto and pasta bolognese and they ate it all! It seems to be a family restaurant with friendly service and declicous food. We will come back!

We went to Fivizzano for Lunigiana International Music Festival and we were gladly surprised by Osteria Il Sogno. Family own restaurant it made us feel like home every time !!! Alessandra and husband great hosts and cooks also the young waitress Nico was great !!! Food was really really good and being a small town down expect a wine menu, but the house wine was decent. I recommend them a 1000% you won 't regret !!

Just lovely! Our family of 8 (2 grandparents, 4 adults and 2 children visited here for a late lunch. Upon entering there was a lovely warm atmosphere and the waiter and chef(? couldn’t have been more accommodating! Even helping my 3 year old to put spaghetti on his fork! The food was tasty and felt ‘authentic’ , we loved it! We had gnocchi, seafood spaghetti and ravioli all was great. Hope to visit again, thank you!

We landed late and by accident at this terrace as the restaurant we came looking for happend to be closed. Raffaello, the waiter, received us heartwarming, checked with the chef if she was still willing to make us dinner eventhough the kitchen was about to close. And yes she was. We had a lovely spaghetti with prawns and for me, on special request, they made a lovely piece of beef on a Rucola salade with tomatoes and Parmigiano cheese flakes. As a desert he made me a lovely Affogato, (Ice cream with espresso) Raffaello spoke good English which helps a lot to get a dinner you want and the menu is only in Italian. We will come back!

One of the best dining experiences ever. Completely shocking as you're in this small, remote village! We're still in shock how good it all was. We're on a Euro trip and it's the best food we ate anywhere, including Italy so far. And we come from Tel Aviv, a foodie capital. We ordered almost the entire menu..and everything was delicious. We were too hungry and greedy to take pictures. We asked Raffaello, the cutest waiter who tried all his English, what his mum cooks best. Ordered that too. ..... The red wine made without chemicals and no branding by the grandfather resulted in no dry mouth and no headache..so we drank 2 bottles (3 ppl). See photo.
