"our stay at the al borducan romantic hotel was very pleasant overall. the hotel is located in the middle of the center of sacro monte di varese, a UNESCO World Heritage site that allows us to explore the surrounding beauty of the region without any problems. the antique furniture in the hotel gives the ambience a charming and nostalgic flair. the panoramic terrace of the hotel's restaurant was particularly impressive. from there we can enjoy a breathtaking view. Food was generally good to very good, with a variety of delicious dishes. However, we must honestly note that dinner, especially the Risotto, does not meet our expectations. the shrimps were unfortunately difficult to find and the price-performance ratio was not consistent in this case. Despite this small negative point, we were satisfied with the rest of the food at the hotel. at breakfast there was also a negative point that made my experience a little sad. the fresh egg shells are missing, in particular agitator. Although there were few guests, the barns were already presented at the buffet and were cold when they wanted to eat them. it would have been desirable for egg dishes to be freshly prepared and served warm to offer guests an optimal breakfast experience. Despite this small lack, I was completely satisfied with my stay at the al borducan romantic hotel. the friendly staff, the charming atmosphere and the great location made this. the hotel has potential to offer an excellent experience, and I hope that they will pick up and improve feedback on breakfast. "Let me start by saying that I already had lunch in this restaurant last year, always outside with my two toy poodles several times and ate well. Last April 11th I phoned to book, specifying that with us there would be my two very well behaved toy poodles, accustomed since they were puppies to frequenting restaurants, bars, etc.... Since it was a beautiful sunny day and knowing the place, I asked if it was It is possible to have lunch outside under the umbrellas as we and our beloved dogs do not like to eat under the sun. The lady who answered the call specified to me that umbrellas were NOT available and therefore it was possible to eat outside only under the sun. At this point, remembering that the restaurant also has tables inside and therefore covered (where I had previously had lunch, again with my dogs) I therefore asked to book inside. To my great surprise, the lady replied that the restaurant management had decided, certainly from this year, that dogs WERE NO LONGER ACCEPTED AT TABLES INSIDE the restaurant but were ONLY accepted outside. At this point I had to give up on the reservation and therefore booked lunch at the restaurant opposite where they accept dogs within their facility. Without any controversy while NOT agreeing with the new provision I think it is right that the management of the restaurant can decide not to accept dogs at internal tables but at this point I think it is equally right to REPORT this to dog owners who may wish to book at this restaurant."

"bel posto rustico e accogliente, nel menu non c'è molta scelta ma la cucina offre ancora piatti fatti in casa e raffinati. abbiamo preso un taglierino misto con formaggio affettato e polenta e due primi: tutti ingredienti eccellenti, di qualità e porzioni abbondanti. Per quanto riguarda il resto gentile signora e brevi tempi di attesa. I prezzi sono leggermente superiori alla media, anche se con lo sconto della forcella è possibile ottenere un account giusto. su tutto il consiglio."

"Stopped on our way down from the Sacro Monte, situated right beside the first chapel, la Prima Capella. Beautiful rustic terrace, cozy atmosphere, nice staff. Fresh produce made for a fantastic lunch The pizzas are the best ever ! Oven baked crust with layers of bresaola, roquette salad. , fresh cherry tomatoes and a huge piece of burrata to top! I normally hate pizza , but this was the freshest and most tasty discovery during our trip to Varese, including gastronomic restaurants."
