"Last Friday we were back to the Löwenhof. This time we chose spaghetti asian. The portion was tidy and savory. There is a need for improvement at the wine choir. I'll talk to the owner on occasion. But shouldn't be a threat, it's just an offer: that didn't happen in the evening, because a lot was going on and I'm looking forward to the long Corona thirst route. The Merlot, on the other hand, was top and there is a good selection of wines. I give five stars despite the accidental wine choir because I am convinced that this will be improved quickly."

It's good if it's something else. The bark and the onion rings so in between.... just great. Friendly service. And if the weather is past, then in the courtyard is very nice.

Small but cozy restaurant with beautiful courtyard. Very friendly and attentive service. The menu is somewhat untypical for Bayer. The Thai Chicken and the Löwenhofburger were the hit

Beautiful ambience in the courtyard, friendly service, unfortunately as everywhere almost no staff, the food and that is always subjective, has not tasted my wife very much, my food was very delicious.

Gorgeous location with creative cozy furnishings! Super service, very friendly and fast. Our food was top, large portions and very tasty seasoned. The cod of the daily map a poem. Cosy courtyard for nice summer evenings. You feel very comfortable!

"The food is good. I had a pasta with aubergine, and my friend had a pizza, and we enjoyed the meals. We are both ovo-vegetarian and they satisfied our dietary requirement. However, we both asked for water to drink and we both got huge glasses of carbonated drink. It tasted so revolting, I don't think it was water. We then had to look up the word for tap water in German (their English wasn't very good, which is fair enough), which we then asked for. What seemed like an age later (over 10 minutes),? we got a glass of tap water. Keep in mind that there was nobody else there in the restaurant. It was just your typical miserable German waitress. The pizza that was ordered, was a standard no cheese pizza with aubergine on top (it may have been some other vegetable, in any case it was one of the optional toppings you pay extra for). However the waitress said it is like this (x) pizza, but without the cheese, and she was then corrected to the pizza that was wanted and with the additional topping (because it worked out cheaper). When the bill came, not only was there the ridiculous charge for the fizzy water we could not drink, but they had charged for the tap water! And then they had billed for the pizza with the cheese on. I paid, but then my friend who had the pizza challenged it after, and they eventually agreed to correct the pizza price. I did not mention the water to them.I want to review this place with 2.5 stars, 3 stars is too much, so I have to give it 2 stars. The food is good, but the staff seem miserable, unfriendly and dishonest (the former 2 are common in Germany, the latter not so much), which just makes it too uncomfortable for me to recommend or want to go back there. If you have to eat good food in this town then this may be your only option. Just be a bit more wary than you may normally be."
