"I arrived at the Northbrook with my mum who uses a wheelchair. We arrived 15 minutes before opening and went in to check opening times and if they were serving food. The staff were exceptionally welcoming. I told them we were in their garden area and my mum uses a wheelchair. A staff member described to me all the access points which would be suitable for us. He told us that they would be open in 15 minutes, he said that in the meantime he would bring us menus and a jug of water, which he promptly did. The outside area was great for us, it was a lovely sunny day. We sat in their canopy area, which is like a raised platform, which was really nice. They also have a really beautiful glass roofed extension on the back of the pub, which would be a great place to have a meal. The whole of the pub is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. We enjoyed our food and drinks, we will definitely return here. The staff were top notch and the environment really welcoming. I wish I lived nearer. They get five stars all found from me. Genuinely lovely people, very welcoming. My sister went the previous week and told me how kind and thoughtful they were. I love their consistency."

Served by Georgia and had a delicious roast. Liked that the roasts came with cauliflower cheese as standard.

Another wonderful afternoon spent in The Lord Northbrook. The staff are always so welcoming and make you feel special. The food was amazing, I had the asparagus starter then the Sri Lankan sweet potato curry, absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go back, thank you to Sam and all the team

I've been going to the Lord Northbrook for many years but recently the atmosphere there has stepped up a notch and its all due to the amazing staff: Georgina, Sofia, Milton and Kirsty. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you are made to feel so welcome, it's a home from home and the food is yummy. Well done to you all and I highly reccommend anyone living in the local area or beyond to pay you a visit xxx

This pub in south east London is a gem. The food is definitely at the high end of pub food. However, more than that, Georgina our host could not have been more helpful. My friend has significant mobility issues but, Georgina and the team were on hand to help. Nothing was too much trouble and they made my friend feel really special and not an inconvenience, which sadly can be the case in some venues. We will definitely be returning I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you View menu

Held a Funeral Reception in The Lord Northbrook's Olive Room. It is a beautiful space, semi-private and we had a little private garden area too. The pub is lovely and welcoming with great decor. We had Georgina assigned to our event and she was wonderful. Georgina made a sad event so much easier with her kind words and helpful nature. I didn't get to sample the food but it looked wonderful and was well received by all who attended. Service was great and everything ran to time. Highly recommended for any event.

A beautiful, airy, spacious, clean Pub and Restaurant, on the inside and on the outside area. Both the Manager, and our host, Sofía, made us feel truly welcomed, always attending to us readily with a natural smile. That alone already made it a pleasure for us to be there and it continued to be so for the duration of our stay (thank you). There were three of us eating plus my niece's new baby girl in her pram, and the sense of space around us made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious as well as well presented, at reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Lord Northbrook and shall be returning there at the first opportunity. I highly recommend it. A real pleasure.

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."
