"Sant Joan is a sleepy town in the interior of Mallorca. I found it by chance when looking for someplace to eat. They served a basic menu del dia with starter, main course and dessert. All accompanied by olives, bread and bottles of vine and water. I started with a soup, Potaje de garbazos which was hot, spicy and delicious. Main course was Costillas de cerdo also tasty. Finished with a small ice-cream. To drink, rosado and still water."

Nos hemos parado por la mañana para tomar unas cervezas y el trato con el camarero ha sido muy bueno y agradable, muy buen servicio y muy buen ambiente, si pasas por Sant Joan debes pararte, por lo menos para tomar unas cervezas. Seguro que repetiremos.

We ate the magnificent. simple place, lovely staff. we were offered the menu, paella recien made and very good, the excellent seconds: porcella with fried potato and salad. cod with tumbet and lamb in the oven, to choose. more dessert. water, wine and soda. we ate very good and cheap.
