"I can't be more disappointed. My Cachapa was burned below and raw in the center. My Maracuyá juice was hot. I went with my boyfriend because I wanted to impress him with Venezuelan food, and I recommended him to eat a sandwich; I thought it would be an empanada like the ones I ate in Venezuela but it was an immense disappointment. It was the pretty little madhouse I've seen all my life and cost almost five euros. It is truly disappointing and it is a shame for authentic Venezuelan food. Jamas would eat again in this place. Jamas would have thought of paying 32€ for such a disappointing meal. I couldn't be more disappointed. My Cachapa was burnt underground and raw in the center. My passion fruit juice was hot. I went with my boyfriend because I wanted to impress him with Venezuelan food, and I recommended him to eat an empanada; I thought it would be an empanada like the ones I ate in Venezuela but it was a huge disappointment. It was the mad little empanada I have ever seen in my life and it cost almost five euros. It is truly disappointing and is a disgrace to authentic Venezuelan food. I would never eat at this place again. I never would have thought to pay €32 for such a disappointing meal."

The food is not just great in the store! We ordered a parbellon kit home. The food came with a great guide and was prepared in a short time. Everything was fresh, super tasty and we have become more than tired!

I loved this place. As a Mexican with not many decent options in hamburg, Venezuelan food warmed my heart a little bit with their salsas, arepas and desserts. I would come back every time I could ❤ friendly staff and quick service! View menu

Immer wieder!

Extremely delicious Latin American food. The service is super friendly and courteous. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance to enjoy the food without having to wait. I visited the restaurant with friends and we were extremely satisfied. We will definitely visit it again on our next visit to beautiful Hamburg. View menu

What a great experience having lunch here! You can order little finger food and the traditional "arepas" (made of mais filled with different ingredients). The natural juices are really good too. Tge service is friendly and of course from Venezuela!!! Smiles for free!! Come and see little Venezuela in Hamburg! Near the metro S-Bahn Holstenstr.

OMG the Food is crazy amazing! It is a hidden gem and you feel like you are at a food truck the has seating to enjoy the food right then and there. The service is friendly and the food comes swiftly. We went crazy and ordered pretty much everything on the menu. It was worth it! The arepa carne mechada, will make you tear up. The Tajadas will make you fall in love. While the pabellon tradicional will make you want to jump for joy. My 12 year old said, “mom this is amazing. I have definitely extended my pallet. I didn’t know Venezuela has such good food!” We, mother son restaurant duo, highly recommend to come by and eat here when in Hamburg. True hidden gem!!!!!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
