"We've eaten lunch here twice and also been in the afternoon for hot chocolate and wine. The food has been very good, especially for the price. We spent less than a total of €30 at lunch for both plates. The lamb chops and the flank steak (plat du jour) were tasty and plenty to eat. There's also a good sausage appetizer. The hot chocolate tastes like real chocolate and you can sweeten it as desired. Good place to read or study too, upstairs. Highly recommended."

A bit pricey, but great ambience. A favourite among locals. On top of that, they have an amazing selection of Latin graphic novels.

I liked the coziness of the place. Prices are alright and the service is good. My soya milk late was not the best but if you're looking for a nice little place to read or meet up I recommend it.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
