"We came here on the eve of July 13 seeking a true French experience but we were received by an arrogant British owner who wouldn't give us a table because we have a one year old child. He claimed that the restaurant was full although we can see that there are 4 empty tables. On our return from the our dinner, there were about 8 empty tables. The British owner referred us to the win bar next door and told us jokingly that if our one year old daughter keeps laughing loudly, she would be put down in the cellar. What a appalling, disgraceful, distasteful and disrespectful person/remark. People like this should be put through rehabilitation to learn about the values of humanity. We were all children and we all laughed and cried. I would recommend that he retreat and think about his words for a long time before communicating with people. What a disgrace."

discovering this restaurant that has many advantages (situation, space, atmosphere, service.) including a particularly refined cuisine that has greatly seduced us. Unquestionably, an address to discover!

very average for the proposed price. very small quantities and basic quality. correct service, but no card for aperitives when you ask (we discover at the bill that the heineken is charged € 8.50?). There are several other addresses to be preferred in my own sense. View menu

very pleasant setting 2 steps from the royal palace. We enjoyed that the tables were spaced for a very intimate dinner. Careful and warm service. The kitchen is refined and inventive. fresh products of season and quality. beautiful discovery, we will return without hesitation!

I'm sure this would have been a wonderful meal.... however, having booked online on the Maceo website, two days in advance, and received confirmation both by email and by fax we turned up to find the restaurant was closed. How can this happen? We instead had a meal at Willy's Wine Bar next door (same owner as Maceo). Staff were very accommodating and charming but the food, I'm afraid, was mediocre. View menu

The dishes are good. A little rational: you can wonder if it's better when there's not enough. good wine map, glass, otherwise it's expensive.Classic chic pleasure; beautiful white, spacious, view of the big ovarian, we are almost there...Mis has left a jovial waitress, the reception and service are rather cold. You should make an effort, it's not the most complicated in restoration. For this last reason, one can hesitate to return and one less star (mile 4 without that).

I was so thankful to be able to have lovely, fancy vegetarian options in Paris. It was a pleasant surprise blending French cuisine with Japanese - the soba noodles with vegetables were great. The cold melon soup (only available vegetarian entrée in the set menu) was the only disappointment and I do wish we had the option to choose the carrots or quinoa. Other than that the food and wine was lovely, the lamb was apparently really good too but of course I didn't eat it as a vegetarian. However this is obviously a great place if you are either vegetarian or a meat eater! The chocolate dessert was so, so good.
